The location was great a few minuets walk to sights and shops and goog restaurants near by very difficult to get to at the moment as Ghent has every road up at this time and christmas market in the area so roads closed. The breakfast would not be good value if it was not included as ours was. |

We had driven here on a weekend pleasure break. We were able to park the car securely in the underground car park with easy access by lift to the foyer. We stayed in suites which had all the necessary facilities we required. Internet access in the foyer was a bonus. We did not breakfast in the hotel, because, although we did not see what was on offer, if one only wanted a boiled egg & a coffee, it was expensive. |

The room was relatively large, and the bed was comfortable. Nice view from the window. Great location, near the Dam Square, Central Station, and convenient for the trams. The fire alarm went off for a few seconds at 2am on the first night, and there were banging noises from other rooms, I think, and the building next door periodically through the rest of the night. Alarm clock in nearby room rang for hours. Didn't have breakfast due to the extremely high cost. |

The location is superb. All mod cons are available and the staff is friendly. There was a lot of noise of late night/early morning pub crawlers, which you could hear through the closed windows. You get charged separately for breakfast (we were unfortunate enough that we were served milk that had gone sour ... ), which was an eye watering 18 euros per person, and the car park costs 16 euros per night. This really increases the price of the hotel. |

Great location; nice lobby and terrace area; good dining/breakfast options; roomy-ish room. The hair dryer in the room wasn't functioning. The nice hotel clerk promptly gave me a loaner, but there were no electrical outlets in the room near to a mirror, which made it impossible for me to see what I was doing. That slight design flaw would likely have gone unnoticed if the dryer had been working. Otherwise, everything worked well. |

The location was excellent and it had a private parking which was quite useful. The room was confortable, in the same style as all the other Novotel. The breakfast was expensive. |

Visited the old town of Ghent for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The hotel was excellent for this purpose.We used the hotel pool and had wonderful breakfasts. |

I have stayed at this hotel before. It is in an ideal central location for those attending the ghent musical festival. Which is why I booked it. Prices very high for breakfast! It is cheaper to go out and find a cafe. The restaurant is also not geared up for large parties for dinner. |

the location of this hotel is fantastic. everything that you may possibly want to see or do in Ghent is no more than a few minutes walk away. beware the lifts. doors close remarkably quickly. we were in a party of four and unless the first person held the door then the doors would just close. not good when you are trying to move luggage as well. |

within easy reach of shops, restaurants and bars. Room was adequate for what we wanted. Could not get a drink at hotel bar on arrival and when we did manage to get one early evening there was nobody to take money. Tried again to get a drink at bar later. Nobody serving at all. |
