Location was perfect just off the square and around the corner from the Menin Gate. Staff friendly and helpful. Having to pay for parking in the hotels private car park. Breakfast average.

The location. The Reception/bar area. Had a lovely stay - thank you. Paying for parking. Cost of breakfast so didn't have any. Shame the beds for the children were just camp beds really and not proper beds.

Very good hotel, best we have stayed in on this trip, location in the centre and close to the menin gate, disabled facilities were good and access to the garage and all areas of the hotel were without problem. restaurant of a very high standard both for breakfast and dinner, good to see gluten free options, reception staff very knowledgable about the local area.

Room was fine. Childrens play area was a bonus. Bar great. % minutes from the Cloth Hall & Menin Gate - excellent location. Restaurant buffet was poor. No childrens menu as such but we ate out 2 out of 3 nights & there are loads of good places to eat in Ypres

Very helpful and friendly staff, great location, nice breakfast. We had booked several months before but on the day of arrival we received a call from Novotel Ieper whilst we were en route to Belgium to say that there was an overbooking and we had been moved to Hotel Ariane for the first night of our three night stay. This was an inconvenience as we did not want to unpack, re-pack and un-pack again. Also we had paid for the reservation several months before and Novotel had the benefit of having our money well in advance but still moved us for one night.

the location was really nice ! Close to everything ... in a quiet street ... perfect ! I expected the hamam to be a bit better and was a bit disappointed with the room decor (a bit bland)

The kids loved the Wii game. Great location, handy parking, good value, clean and tidy. The air conditioning was stuck on super heating our room. We had to open the window in order to sleep despite it snowing outside.

The hotel was in an excellent position, 2 minutes from the square and Menin Gate. The room was clean and comfortable and our children were very pleased to be able to get the BBC on the TV! Parking could be an issue but we were quite fortunate each day to be able to find a space for which we didn't have to pay.

Novotel hotels are family friendly, and offer good quality family rooms that are comfortable and with good faclities. The hotel in Ieper is well placed in the centre, just round the corner from the market place. Parking is easy on the street (at least when we were there), but the hotel does have it's own car park if you need it. A must is to visit the In Flanders museum in the centre.
