The location is the best thing about this hotel , along with bbc 1, itv and bbc2. First stay in a Novotel and definitely the last! Not what is expected for a very expensive 3 star hotel. The towels are threadbare, thin and grey which really is very depressing in the tiny, cramped plastic bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing. The staff let table after table sit overflowing with used plates and leftover food....with no attempt to clear them. If this is what Novotel is all about then for 270 euros for 2 nights stay, £118 per night, this is the biggest rip- off going!!!

We have used the hotel for a number of years and have taken other members of family as well, the staff have always tried to be helpful, the location is central and the parking is ideal, as we drive from Gibraltar this is important to us, we also feel very at ease in the hotel, hopefully we will return again this year Kim Gravett

- Lobby + restaurant/bar/breakfast corner : stylish and very cosy, though spatious - rooms : spatious + all required accommodation is available + clean (except, cfr infra) - staff : extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely a very big plus!! - lunch at €12 : very interesting price + good food - breakfast : ok! The carpet in the rooms don't look fresh nor clean anymore.

We have stayed many times, it is a great location with good food. It is still a good hotel but now starting to look tired from when we last visited 12 months ago, probably because it is very popular.

Location to Menim Gate and Leper Town The price of breakfast was very expensive. The hotel room was basic and paper cups were provided for tea in the room. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no character.

The skill and competence of the receptionist at check-in was outstanding. The location is ideal for visits to the Menin Gate Last Post ceremony and the secure car park although expensive is an added bonus. The charge of €20 for breakfast is outrageous.. A 3 course lunch in the same hotel is only €12. We walked into the square and had breakfast at another hotel nearby for half the price.

The location was the only good thing about the hotel and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast an outrageous 20 euros each,a whisky and coke 11.90 euros, beds very hard and uncomfortable, rooms tired and in need of a refurb.tea and coffee facilities very poor, cups were cardboard and only 2 of them and there were 3 of us,only enough milk for 1 hot drink, wooden stirrers and the kettle leaked all over my new digital camera which now does not work,£200 down the drain.

It was central, had car parking and was convenient and the advance booking offered a reasonable price for the weekend. The staff were friendly. We had booked for 5 people but had not expected to share double beds or have to make up the third bed in one room. There were insufficient cups, coffee, milk etc in the room being shared by 3 adults.

Very pleased with the hotel being comfortable & central in leper. Would stay again. Breakfast rather expensive @ 20 euros per head when you can visit the market square and get an all inclusive cooked breakfast with fruit & coffee for 9 euros - no contest.

The young receptionist was excellent. Having just spent 20 days touring Europe and dealing with rude arrogant front desk staff she was a delight. She couldn't have been more helpful to us and you should treasure her. If the chance arose we would not hesitate to return to your establishment. Additionally You had a cold fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and clean sheets / pillows Not to mention a proper double bed. We had been told these were not normal in Europe Pfft !! All lies :) All I could suggest was access to your building whilst pulling a suitcase along those cobbles was a challenge.
