The price point and location.
Wifi was spotty. Bathroom shower does not have glass doors.
Staff was very good Location excellent Bathroom was big and beautiful
Wifi broke but may be this was incidental They should improve beddings and then it would be really good choice
Location was good, breakfast content was good.
Thin walls (which I have to say is something you will find with most older hotels in Brussels). Plastic sheets between bed linen and mattress to mitigate against bed wetting was uncomfortable. Breakfast room was a bit small resulting in some congestion and queueing and difficulty in getting to the drinks and cereals which were located on the passageway in and out.
Perfect location, 2 minutes away from metro and walking distance to Grand Place and Rue Neuve. Surrounded by restaurants
Good central location, wifi easy to access, excellent value for money.
The central location means you can hear quite a bit of noise overnight.
Staff and location
B'fast always the same and little choice, room too small, wi-fi most of the time not working. Too noisy outside the hotel at night.
no air conditioning noisey if window open
It should to be cleaner
The hotel is very well placed in the low city, which is the main historical area. There are a lot of restaurants near, the area is very safe.
The Internet did not work properly.
Easy to walk to all sites, parking close by, nice rooms with views of the city, nice staff
Breakfast was crowded and minimal, no A/C for hot sticky summers
Location close to attractions. Good value for money. Very helpful staff.
A bit noisy (our room was at the front of the hotel - a back room may have been quieter.) Wi-Fi didn't always work.
The location, it is cheaper but not value for money
Extremely noisy, could not sleep most nights and tired all day. Staff unfriendly and cold (typical about Belgium). We reached early and there was no room ready. Not complaining about that but the room we got at first was not even cleaned. Had to request cleaning. Staff does not communicate at all. Stayed for 2 days, but we cud not avail the complimentary breakfast due to travel plans. So we requested for breakfast the day we arrived from paris in the morning. They refused. Washroom is poor. Very small rooms and smallest elevator. No kettle to prepare tea or coffee. It is good for backpackers who want a place in the city to keep luggage and just rest for few hours but not sleep. Stuffy rooms and narrow beds.
Great location next to travel and all the great things of brussels
- the hotel is central located so is very easy to find a lot of attractions or restaurants nearby -reception staff very friendly and helpfull -the breakfast was ok (bread, ham, cheese, salami, boiled eggs, corn flakes, joghurts, croissants etc.) -room with big bathroom was clean
- no air-conditioner in the room (at nights was very warm and we couldn't sleep good )
Noisy street The floor creaks
Great location, friendly staff.
the hotel is amazing for its location. the grand palace square is just 3 mins walkway. you can walk almost everyhere for visiting including manneken piss, chocolat museum, museum of instruments etc.
not a good, welcoming staff. old and not modernly decorated. we asked from them to keep our luggages in the luggage room at the day we checked out and they gave us the key and took no responsibility for the staff we leave in the luggage room. in this case, everybody has access to luggage room and your valuables are at stake. not a good application.
Near to Everything,Clean,Staff are Friendly and value for money
Noisy, very narrow stairway, very small elevator, not good for summer holidays its very warm inside my room no electric fan or airconditioning facility
good location in the city
The room 202 was so hot and noisy
Wifi Location close to the central station
Noisy environment Average Breakfast quality
location superb,great value for money
good location smallish room but comfortable good wi-fi and more than adequate breakfast
no parking but public parking close by
The location is ideal for exploring the city. Good value for money considering that Brussels is quite pricey. The bathroom was very clean and more updated than the room.
Rooms and common areas feel dated.
Beds had plastic sheets under the regular sheets, making them noisy and uncomfortable. Shower had minimal water, and had to run 5 minutes before the water became hot. Hotel has no iron or ironing board, strange in a city where every second person is wearing a suit. Breakfast room is tiny. Staircase looks like it is about to collapse. Price is too high for a hotel that is clearly trying to spend as little as possible on upkeep.
