Location is definitely the best thing about this hotel. Beds not that comfortable but it didn't really matter because we just needed a place to sleep for few hours in between sightseeing and enjoying the night life of Belgium.Breakfast very simple but it was enough. Overall satisfied.
Nothing much to like about this hotel
Got stuck in lift, only one staff member on site, not trained in lift evacuation, couldn't find the key. took too long, didn't keep us informed, even had the temerity to accuse us of causing the problem. Bed was like a camp bed with foam mattress.- poor
Room was clean. The room was very small but adequate. Location was excellent.
The room we had was in the front was overlooking the street. Party noies could be heard until 5 am. Luckily it was cold out and we kept the window closed which cut down on the noise.
It was clean and newly decorated. The reception staff were pleasant. The breakfast was plentiful.
I loved that we could pop downstairs to a large selection of restaurants and shops right outside the door. We were only a short walk to the main square and an even shorter walk to the ice rink for the Holiday Festival.
You do have to be prepared for street noise.
For a short stay of one or two nights on a business trip, the location is excellant, situated near the Central Station and in the City Centre. Reception staff makes you welcome all the time and helpful. simple and clean too. been here six times, will be back.
During weekend stays, having a room overlooking the street below, maybe a bit noisy for light sleepers.
Brilliant location, room had everything you could need. Wifi was perfect. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Usual continental breakfast. Will definitely go again.
No major problems at all. If I was going to be picky the towels were hard and scratchy. There were quite a few British TV (BBC) channels but they all had bad reception so couldn't watch them.
Breakfast was adequate, but coffee was diluted.
Squeaky floor, crooked building, crooked stairscases, small elevator can onlyfit two and a small luggage. Wifi extremely slow and intermittent cable tv. Very old and outdated furniture.Lack of electric outlets to plug in electronic. Very noisy location and can hear everything in the hallway and outside.
Location, staff, TV channels:)
very central location in the hart of the city, friendly staff, free citymap
We had to que up for the breakfast; if there are too much guests, there is not enough space to eat.
excellent location, fair breakfast, fair price
Clean, simple and good value. Staff were kind and helpful
Wi-Fi was very slow, TV didn't really work
These stains can be your story with real water leaks in 2-3am. Good if you can hear as it starts to drip out despite the noise of street crowd!
The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The free wifi had very spotty service. The street noise was horrible until the rain started and the crowd left.
Location was perfect. Staff helpful and great value for price especially given the location.
Perfect location! It's just located in the city center. Moreover, you got value for your money.
Hotel and rooms are somewhat outdated. If you do not expect much and want to stay in the city center for a low price, this hotel fits you well.
Great location, kind staff working at the front desk, elevator, clean bathroom and heating.
Extremly noisy (night noise from the street). Interntet problems (in the evening lack of Wi-Fi). Probably the network was overloaded. TV wasn't working (because of the broken decoder). A lot of dust on the decoder.
Friendly staff Excellent location
No window in my room. Hole between the door and the floor Older then it look on pictures
The price is for Brussels downtown is very good. Location is perfect, close to subway. Breakfast European, but enough.
Excellent location within minutes of Grand Place and surrounded by shops, supermarkets and very good, well priced restaurants offering every sort of meal. Handy for Metro, trams and Gard du Central. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and spoke English. Also able to leave luggage for a few hours which was a great help. For the price and location I would certainly stay here again.
The hotel sign outside was not lit which made it hard to spot the hotel amidst all the other signage of the surrounding shops. Needs a banner on the corner of the building to make it easy to spot. No tea or coffee making facilities within the room was a disappointment.
Perfect location, friendly staff, descent breakfast included
Needs renovation, old carpets, no sound-proof
The breakfast room should be enlarged
The hotel is close to the Metro and the fabulous Grote Market. There are numerous restaurants close to the hotel.
The bedroom was small. The breakfast room is too small for the number of guests and I had to wait for a table to become available.
- very friendly and helpful staff - excellent location
- cold and draught in the room - one can hear absolutely everything from neighbouring rooms
