Martin's Relais Oud Huis Amsterdam

Понравился очень просторный и удобно обустроенный номер, отзывчивый персонал; в отеле есть бар, прекрасный и недорогой (а в Брюгге всё очень дорого); хорош завтрак - для другого города дороговато, но в Брюгге дешевле позавтракать просто невозможно, а качество еды - отличное, к тому же можно выпить шампанского. В общем - почти всё хорошо.

В ванной комнате необходимо сделать занавеску/загородку длиной во всю ванну, а не в её половину. Из-за половинчатой загородки и не очень удобного смесителя (душ работает только при большом напоре воды) очень трудно не залить пол в ванной, принимая душ. Ещё неплохо бы обновить двери или хотя бы дверные замки в номерах.

The Hotel had a great location, room was a good size and the bathroom was fairly new and clean.

There was a small fridge on the floor by our bed on the window side of the room. Health and Safety would have a field day. There was a small round dining table and 2 chairs which need not have been in the room maybe on request basis only as this would have opened up the room more. The cupboard under the TV door was broken - maybe the fridge could have been put into this cupboard? The shower had a strong water flow however it moved to the right and had to lean to one side of the shower to wash your hair or hold the shower in your hand.

The service the staff provided was excellent - they provided a city map and discount card immediately at check-in and marked down on the map all the popular places to visit. Plus, they spoke good English.

We loved the atmosphere at the hotel. We were specifically looking for a hotel that didn't look like it was built for the modern businessman and this hotel was just lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is steeped in history and it's worth asking the staff about the building and the different rooms. Even the wallpaper has a story behind it. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Bruges.

Excellent hotel. The decoration is the very nice. The service, breakfast, rooms, etc.. Very near from everything. No need to walk too much. People who loves old houses, and atiques will love this hotel.

The breakfast was gorgeous and staff were lovely.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The offered a separate bed for our 3 year old. Great location!

The baby cot was a little dangerous. Our daughter woke up screaming because she was caught between the mattress and the side netting. Very scary.

Our fourth-floor room was accessible by elevator and then a couple of steps up to the landing. The room was very large, as was the bathroom, which had two sinks. It didn't have a closet, but instead had a huge armoire, which functioned just as well as a closet would have. The ceilings in the bedroom were extremely high--approximately 15 feet tall--which made the room feel even more spacious. The room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness; we had absolutely no complaints there. It also overlooked the canal, which was great. The breakfast also was superb; it offered many options and filled us up so that on several days, we skipped lunch. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel and recommend it.

The first day we were there was quite warm, and we opened the windows because we had some trouble figuring out how to get the air conditioning to work effectively. (We also like to sleep with open windows when possible.) Even though we were on the fourth floor, the open windows let in some traffic noise early in the morning. (This is to be expected in an urban setting, and we realized that there really wasn't much the hotel could do to remedy the situation.) We weren't bothered by the noise; we simply put in ear plugs and snored away. Putting up with a little noise was worth the beautiful room, excellent location, and lovely breakfast.

The gardens in back were beautiful and we just happened to have rooms with doors leading right into the yard, making for a very quiet and restful stay. In addition, its location in the town was excellent - away from the bustle of the town square but not too far and easy to walk to everything. 24 hour bar and service were also a plus. Old world charm and furnishings in common areas were lovingly maintained and in interesting contrast to the modern furnishings of the rooms.

The automatic sliding glass doors at the entrance closed too fast and caught me on the way out.

The hotel was good value in an excellent location, was comfortable and friendly staff

Room was very nice- comfortable bed and good breakfast. Very convenient location.

Parking in Bruges was tricky, and the hotel did not provide so it was a matter of finding street space or private lot a few blocks away.
