The location, food, comfort, and staff are fantastic.
The beds on the 3rd floor not as good as the first floor
The hotel is very comfortable and have an amazing breakfast!! Very cute on the decoration details!! The room we got was kind of in the back and we no elevator (and I actually fell of the stairs). Totally recommended!!
The hotel is very conveniently placed for walking around Bruges and with plenty of restaurants close by for eating. very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. parking at the hotel is limited and as we found out must be perked, however threes a public car park only 5 minutes walk form the hotel which is also considerably cheaper.
Wifi was not very good and kept dropping out and the room was not very soundproof as we heard next door baby crying very clearly.
The pillows and the breakfast staff in the eating area
Very pretty hotel
Staff were very unhelpful and two twin beds no double they lied Abd said there were no doubles in the hotel
Nice sized room, pleasant staff, excellent location, definately worth a second stay.
No food service other than excellent breakfast. Would have liked some munchies in the bar area. No vodka in stock.
Good quality room and buffet breakfast. Very well placed in the centre of town.
Not many staff so at times it was difficult to get service in the restaurant or at reception.
Staff and service were excellent, good varied breakfast. Location of hotel was two minutes from the Square shops and restaurants.
Only negative was twin beds pushed together as a double, quilts were small and thin.
- location - breakfast - cleanliness of the hotel & room - wifi (strong signal in the common areas and in the room)
Our room was on the 3rd floor and water pressure of the shower was weak
We spent Christmas in Bruges and our 2 night stay at Hotel Oud Huis de Peellaert definitely added to the Christmas feel. It was beautifully decorated, the room was comfortable, breakfast great and the lounge was super cosy to finish the day with a glass of Belgian beer. Thank you!
Single duvets on twin beds were too small, massive gap in middle when beds together!
Nice hotel in the city center. Good option for city break weekend
If you want to have a bathrobe you have to walk to reception and take it yourself, leaving your driving licence for deposit. On the check out you have to bring it back to reception. Runing downstairs with our bags and bathrobe is not much fun. Not something one would expect from 4 star hotel. Lousy old closet in the room.
Hotel beautifully decorated and well maintained. Rooms warm and cosy. Definitely consider staying again. Breakfast also fab.
Location Breakfast Beds
Rude receptionist Cleanliness Steam room was broken No one knows about service standarts! If you looking for a nice 4* hotel with 4* service look somewere els
great location, newly renovated, clean rooms
avoid the 3rd floor rooms, there is constant machine sound coming from the top. the isolation of windows are also not so good for heat.
Staff were pleasant, sauna and steam room were good
This is a hotel with no atmosphere, nothing in the way of helpful reading about the city and only two newspapers with little content. The general feeling of the hotel is one of dullness. The pillows in the bedroom were lumpy and much too big, replacements were not available. The hotel website belies the actuality.A big disappointment for an important anniversary.
We arrived on Christmas Day. Directly after checking in, I requested that we be moved to a different room since our neighbours in the adjoining room were noisy. I was told the hotel is full and it won’t be possible. When we came back after dinner we settled in and just before 22h00 our neighbours also came back, they started banging on the door between our two rooms, pulling the handle, put on rather loud music and proceeded to have what sounded like a party. This time we insisted we be moved or that someone would ask them to quiet down. After much sighing, banging on the keyboard and apparently performing brain surgery (“it’s not easy – it fits together like a puzzle!”) we were moved. We were moved to a cold room outside the main hotel overlooking the garage (without access to wi-fi) – not really the idyllic Christmas break we hoped for. The first night was really cold and we couldn’t use the air-conditioning to heat the room as it was too noisy to run through the night... not sure if the coffee stirrer keeping it together had anything to do with the noise. On the second night we requested a second blanket be sent to our room – we didn’t get a great response to this either... the receptionist said he would see what he could find. When we came back after dinner we were given a dirty single bed duvet and a separate cover. We spent one evening reading in the lounge (the fire never got lit while we were there) and we had to wait more than 20 minutes for a glass of wine and sherry we ordered. I didn’t mind the wait, but it seemed someone else was always more important than we were. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel – definitely not at €160 per night.
- Location - Breakfast
- Bed - Poor wifi connection in the room
Big comfy bed Location The bar
Room was tiny and we were based outside the hotel next to the parking Had to leave heating permanently on as that annexe building was very cold Breakfast- not a lot of choice
Wonderful Christmas decorations. Great breakfast. Central location. Helpful staff
Great location, lovely and warm hotel that was spotlessly clean. Our room was at the back of hotel and was very quiet.quality bathroom productS.Avery nice breakfast plenty of choice served in a light airy breakfast room.Staff were helpful.
Fresh milk in room would have been better than sachet of milk powder but minor complaint
