The location was good. After an early evening meal, we were refused access to the lounge and bar facilities. As a result we had to wander the streets in poor weather to find another hotel to spend the evening. We were offered no apology or compensation. We should have been informed that the facilities would not be available at the the time of booking to give us the choice of staying elsewhere with proper accomodation. |

The hotel is 'grand' and well located , car parking was useful if not a little tight, breakfast was good. Rooms are well fitted out and comfortable for this price band. No restaurant. The hotel bar closed without asking if we would like a last round of drinks. We felt this was a bit rude and un welcoming. |

Spacious room which was clean. Large bathroom. Excellent breakfast especially on the Sunday morning (not sure why there was a difference in the standard on the second morning of our stay) Staff were very helpful |
