The staff were the friendliest and most pro-actively helpful i have ever encountered... from responding promptly to queries and concerns to tracking down the hotel kitten (unasked!) so that my son could take a photograph of her. Great location; extremely quiet, but handy for both the beach and the town centre, plenty of free roadside parking just outside (not sure how plentiful that is in high season though). Very basic accommodation, with the decor feeling extremely tired; thin, worn carpets through the corridors, part of the shower door missing (although the shower was so feeble this proved to be less of a problem than we had feared), wallpaper peeling off behind the radiator. However, given the very reasonable price, the decent breakfast, and the enormously helpful staff, still recommended. |

Free parking available nearby.Drinks on the terrace in the afternoon, in the sun. Quiet location. Arriving in De Panne it took us an hour to find the hotel, even after asking directions.One way system around the hotel made initial access very difficult. Did not like set meal - no choice available.No comfortable seating in bar. Standard of decoration poor,especially in bedroom - wallpaper hanging off, basic lino flooring. |

The garden was great for younger children - lot's of space and plenty of toys. Restaurant was large and clean. Considering we paid 143 euros for 1 night B&B I was expecting a little more from the hotel. Decor in the rooms and corridors was distinctly rough around the edges and the standards in the dining areas didn't translate to the room - a bathroom with no bath! - if it was a campanile then fair enough as you get what you pay for but at 143 euro you expect certain basics. Useful to know about as a fall-back position but to be honest we've stayed at nicer and better value for money hotels in De Panne. |

We booked for one night, shower was much better then we were expecting. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was relaxed. Close to town centre, cash point and Sammy's bar within 200 yards. It was a bit hard to find at first but there were signs at strategic junctions, you just had to know to look for them. |

Vlak bij Plopsaland. Geen personeel bij de receptie. Moesten iemand gaan zoeken die ons incheckte. Zeer matige, zeer eenvoudige kamers. Een likje verf en een nieuw zeiltje op de vloer zou niet misstaan. Bedden veel te hard. Douche erg klein. |
