I particularly appreciate the cozy atmosphere of the old stables, now transformed into modern and very comfortable rooms, and the lovely garden just outside the door. The only reason why I would not come back, some day in the future, is that I will buy my own house in Bilzen. But even then I will still come back to Huize Briers for the tasty cookies and the welcoming smiles !

We loved that it did not have the commercial anonymous feel that many places have. Our host was really helpful and went above and beyond with help and support and showing our children the animals. The breakfast was also really fantastic. We were very glad that there was availability when we were in Bilzen. It was close to the train station, which is what we were looking for.ClaireGermany

Breakfast was substantial with everything you could want. It was a special occasion for my parents and Stefan went out of his way to make it so for them. Sauna was just so nice and relaxing with zen music and insence burning. Just exceptional. Can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.CarolineIreland

However, receptionist gave us a very good recommendation for excellent De Gouden Tak restaurant about 2 km down the road. Only used the swimming pool in spa facility which was pleasant and the room was very good. Excellent location for Alden Bilzen Castle.
