Plaza Boutique Hotel  

We went to Antwerp to attend a basketball tournament. We found the staff extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. We did not eat, but had drinks at the bar, which was small but cosy. We had a junior suite which was large. The beds were very comfortable, there was a safe for personals, and large walk in closet. We were on the 6th floor, so had decent views of the street below without too much of the noise.

We stayed at the Plaza with 3 other couples, all whom had cars. The garage held about 10 cars total and was under the hotel with very low clearance. Our SUV could not fit into several of the spaces, due to the small size of the spots and the low ceiling height. Our bumper was hit at some point during our last evening from some other car who obviously had similar issues parking. I just wish the driver had left a note! The rooms appeared modernized with fresh paint and bedding, but the carpet was dated and the bath/shower should really be updated. There was an old bidet and the updated (in the 70's) tub was so large, we couldn't sit on the toilet without hitting our knees on it. There was no shower curtain or partition and only a handheld sprayer on a pole for a shower.

We had nice big room with lots of cabinet space. It was a pity that the weather was not so good, otherwise we could have sat on the spacious balcony. The corner bathtub was relaxing, although for a quick shower not really handy. The abundant breakfast made us come back for more and everything was as tasty as it looked. The hotel looks very clean and the staff was very helpfull and friendly.

There are not so many restaurants in the vicinity. Parking space is limited and as our car is 1.90 m high it did not fit in the parking garage.

I liked everything there the rooms are well equiped, but lack tea/coffe/kettle rooms are huuuuuge!! Though, its not cheap...!

Price is a bit too high for an "older", and non-chain hotel no points awarded for stays there etc...

Always a good reception by staff , friendly , helpfull and always smiling . breakfast aways a good choice hot and cold , rooms very clean and comfortable .Our first visit was with friends a few years ago and now have been a few times , last on our own with other friends who was also impressed . going to belgium go to the plaza boutique hotel, you won,t regret it

Het vriendelijkste personeel tot op heden dat we reeds in Antwerpse hotels tegen gekomen zijn!

Le cadre était magnifique. Le style y es très chaleureux.

La décoration de la salle "petit déjeuner" ne colle pas vraiment avec le style "british".

Onze kamer was heel goed en schoon. De lokatie van het Plaze Boutique Hotel is prima. De tramhalte is letterlijk om de hoek van het Hotel en binnen 10 min. ben je in hartje cenrtum Antwerpen. Binnen 15 min. kun je via een mooi stadspark wandelen naar het Rubenshuis en van daaruit ben je ook weer zo bij de Groenmarkt. Een goede en rustige lokatie het Plaza Hotel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbufet en vriendelijk personeel. Gastvrije ontvangst en goede service sieren dit Hotel evenals de properheid. Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijk weekendje Antwerpen in letterlijke en figuurlijke zin.

Chambre immense et très bien équipée, excellent petit déjeuner buffet, service agréable et attentif, l'hôtel était parfait.

Een sfeervol hotel met bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Het personeel doet alle moeite je verblijf tot een prettig verblijf te maken. Het hotel is voorzien van een bar waar je prettig kunt zitten. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. Onze kamer (Junior Suite) was zeer ruim, stijlvol ingericht, en schoon. De bedden slapen prima. Vanuit het hotel is het een minuut of 20 lopen naar het centrum. We namen een taxi terug. (iets meer dan 10 euro) Er is niets dat me in de weg zou staan om dit hotel een volgende keer weer te nemen. Prima hotel !!
