Le Point de Vue is a small-scale hotel situated on the edge of the Chiny-sur-Semois forest in the in The Gaume region. From the hotel and terrace, guests have a unique view of the Semois River and surrounding forests. The hotel includes 13 rooms, which are in the main building or in the neighboring annex. Most rooms are decorated in an original Laura Ashley-style and have views of the surrounding forest. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes in the restaurant with picturesque views. Local ingredients are used with respect to the seasons. On request, the hotel can serve a vegetarian or sugar-free menu. The Point de Vue Hotel is a 20 minute drive from Highway E411/E25. This was the highlight of our 10-day vacation in Europe. We visited the countryside for relaxation and pampering, and that's what we got. Le Point de Vue was an amazing mix of friendly, knowledgable, clean, comfortable, and gourmet. We will surely be back.

Beautiful views all round the hotel. Fabulous dinner with local produce. No a'la carte menu available for dinner if you do not feel like a 4 course feast!

The care with which everything has been planned, from the decor to the food to the warmth of welcome is impressive. We have rarely stayed anywhere where the owners have shown us alsothe facilities personally and also explained in detail each dish at dinner. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole environment created has a really personal feel to it.. It is like staying in someone's home with wonderfully idiosyncratic decor. We would go back tomorrow! Can't really think of anything at all.

Uitstekend hotel !!! Ontvangst gastvriendelijk. Diner voortreffelijk,wat een verrassende diner....pluim voor de kok !!! Zeer vriendelijke uitbaters... Geen opmerkingen !!!!

tout!! superbe logement avec magnifique vue sur la semois et la forêt , propre, mignon ,jolie décoration cosy, gentillesse de l'accueil et du service (ici on trouve encore le respect et la chaleur humaine ça fait du bien!), délicieuse cuisine raffinée, rapport qualité prix excellent ! bref un endroit magnifique où passer une excellente détente dans la nature ! Bravo et merci! nous retournerons! rien

Alles was prima. De vriendelijke eigenaaren,de locatie, de service, het eten, de gezelligheid. Het is echt zo'n geheimtip, die je alleen met je naaste vrienden wil delen maar dat zo sneu voor het hotel zijn. Bij deze dus!

Het hotel ligt in een mooie omgeving met prachtig uitzicht. De kamers zijn erg verzorgd en hebben luxe badkamers. Ook is er een gezellige woonkamer met een open haard waar je kunt ontspannen. 'S avonds wordt er een heerlijk vers 4 gangen diner bereid! Er is ons niks tegengevallen tijdens ons verblijf.

zalig genieten van het eten & gesprekken met de gastheren rustig / prachtige ligging je weet dat het niet goedkoop is maar je krijgt waar voor je geld dus klaag ik niet hoor : volgende jaar gaan we zeker terug

Le calme, la simplicité, la disponibilité des responsables, la qualité des prestations, à recommander ! quelques détails : pas de mouchoirs en papier dans les chambres, petit déjeuner seulement à partir de 8h30... mais on m'a servie un petit lunch pack à 7h30 (car je devais absolument partir). donc je retiens que cette hôtel le un excellent lieu pour se ressourcer...

Prima ligging, warm onthaal, verzorgd interieur. Avondmaal is niet vrij te kiezen en bleek een allegaartje te zijn van smaken die niets met elkaar te maken hebben... Typisch hollands ?

Het hotel heeft een uitstekende lokatie, is enorm leuk ingericht, en het personeel is uitrmate vriendelijk. Heb dit hotel al aangeraden aan anderen. Heb niets wat ons tegenviel.

Reeds de vierde maal dat we er gaan en voor mij(ons) uitstekend. Ontvangst en service opperbest. Eten zeer lekker, kamers zeer netjes. Geen tv maar voor ons geen prbleem hoeft niet. Ideaal voor de rust, in omgeving mooie wandelpaden enz. Kort samengevat uitstekend.

Persoonlijk onthaal, prachtige ligging, schitterend uitzicht, zeer verfijnde keuken, prettige sfeer, eclectisch interieur. Er viel niets tegen. Mocht er ooit nog een kleine spa met zwembad kunnen aangebouwd worden zou dat een absoluut pluspunt zijn.

De ligging is werkelijk fantastisch - de uitbaters zijn bijzonder vriendelijk - de atmosfeer is er zeer gemoedelijk en gezellig - de kamers/badkamers zijn aantrekkelijk ingericht - het hotel is helemaal gericht op 'uitrusten' en is daar ook bijzonder geschikt voor met 'ligweiden' en een zeer mooi terras met een geweldig en onbetaalbaar uitzicht. Men kan 's avonds niet à la carte eten: er wordt gekookt voor de gasten en iedereen eet hetzelfde: dat is sympathiek maar men weet het best op voorhand.
