Comfort, Style, Space, Beautiful rooms, Helpful staff
We really enjoyed the friendly staff. They were very helpful and friendly. Location was great. The room was clean but not really unique. The breakfast buffet was varied and good.
There was an odor like sewage in the hallways. Lucky enough not in our room.
location in Bruges was good
No tea/coffee making facility or helpful staff to provide this. Smell of toilet effluent in corridor.
The location was great. It was also nice and quiet despite being at a big open square. The beds were long which suited my tall partner!
The entrance was really nice and welcoming but when we got to our floor it was small and dated and actually smelt of drains. The room was small for two people, we wouldn't have like to have shared a room that small for much longer than a couple of nights. But it did the job!
Fantastic location for New Years Eve Excellent location right next to superb car park Room 39 had excellent comfortable beds Fabulous views
Could not get a hot drink from the bar after midnight on New Years Eve
Location was fabulous as opposite square where new year celebrations were held. Lots of good restaurants in same location and five minutes walk to centre. Had junior suite and could sit in warm room him comfortable chairs with patio doors open and hear music and then see fireworks. Staff friendly and great breakfasts. Could not fault hotel or location.
Only thing would improve stay would have been coffee/tea making facilities located in room. Says car. park opposite but difficult to find as in tunnel on way to hotel. Should be more clearly stated on booking form as states car park opposite whereas cannot be seen as underground. Also need to park on odd numbered floor so you exit close to hotel.
The location was excellent as were the very helpful staff on Reception. The conservatory at the front of the hotel is a lovely feature and there is also a large lounge on the first floor.
Although clean and perfectly comfortable, the rooms were very basic and not what I would have expected from a 4* hotel.
The staff was very polite and helpful with directions and suggestions for dining.
The breakfast was priced a bit high and there was an odd smell at times in the hallways.
Excellent staff went over and above the call of duty to make certain we were comfortable and well looked after. Superb location!
rooms a bit small - though not uncomfortable. Bathroom a bit dated.
Very well situated, big and good room, very good breakfast, kind staff.
Extremely poor wifi and very small room for three. Plus there was a sewage smell in the hallways.
Great location and spacious room.
Location is great and hotel staff very friendly and helpful
Bedroom and bathroom pretty basic and in need of update/upgrade to be 4 star quality
Location is perfect and staff at front desk (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful.
The carpet of the room is a bit smelly
We stayed for 1 night and the hotel was great, really welcoming staff and a great suite that was perfect for travelling with two children. The staff were really friendly trying to ensure we made the most of our time in Bruges
It might be good to add locks to the bathroom, the children found it amusing but us less so!
Excellent location, very good breakfast nothing to moan about at all.
View of all 3 historic towers from room. 5 minute walk to cathedral, and further 5 minutes to main square.
Parking entrance hard to locate for first-timers.
Location is excellent, close to the centre. Parking is easy in the large public underground carpark. Good breakfast sets you up for the day.
Excellent location with easy access on foot to the old town. Very friendly staff and good breakfast
Unclear that the hotel does not have it have it's own dedicated parking. It is a public underground car park which could be an issue if it is full!
Excellent location ,in a beautiful city, near all facilities.Breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold options.Staff were lovely and helpful.
The room was very hot , but there were no instructions on how to use the temp control. No instructions on how to use the safe.No tea/coffee facilities in the room(which for a 4 star in England would be required)
Location was good, a short walk of approx 10-15 minutes away from the market square. The hotel was easy walk from the station again 10-15 brisk walk from the station, along cobbled walk way so a bit tricky with a case. Buffet breakfast was good great choice of continental food and cooked breakfast. Lots of pastries also, drinks were also good.
Room was good, clean and a triple room was very small the room was not really built for 3 adult people. Especially with 1 adult having to sleep on a put you up bed. Our only compliment was the manager of the hotel and the way she spoke to us but a part from her all other staff were very helpful and welcoming during our stay.
The welcome by the man in reception (so sorry we did not get your name) and the wonderful terrace off the room and the suite layout which was ideal for three ladies!!
Great location, within walking distance to everything. Family room was very spacious and the beds were excellent! Only wish we had more time...
Staff often missing at the reception, room too small.
This is a well-appointed hotel, but we weren't sure it was a clear ****.
When we returned at 22.15 on our final night, the Reception office was shut and the computer system was down. we needed to leave before 07.00 the next day. The duty member of staff was tremendously helpful (we want to stress) but she could not advise what was owing and the office did not open until 08.00. We did not see this problem coming, and do not think it is consonant with a claim of ****.
