Very quiet location in an otherwise busy location. Good rooms on the business class floor. Nespresso machines in the rooms is a good touch. Business class lounge is also very nice. The drain in shower was blocked. We were told it was fixed when it wasn't. Staff did not offer any compensation for this inconvenience in a business class room. Service in the hotel bar was very slow, however staff were all very friendly.

We had a nice room, not big but also not to small (we had a standerd room). The room and bathroom were clean. Tea/coffee facilities. Check in was fast and friendly staff. Great location because near Brussels Central Station and shopping centre. I really do not understand why this hotel is called 5 stars. Especially the bathroom! Although it was clean and the shower worked, the whole room was in bad maintenance, for example the tiles. The appearance of a 5 star hotel should be perfect. We had a special offer, otherwise it is not worth the money. For check out we also needed to wait.

Location - close to Brussels Square & Shopping arcades. 5 star rated hotel therefore as expected: Room and Services appropriate standard. Retaurant & Food - Breakfast very good standard and choices Hotel staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Hotel has a good city location however arriving by car it is difficult to locate. Carparking charges are excessive, if staying for more than just a few nights it would be more cost effective not to travel by car. These hotels should adopt a customer friendly attitrude towards guests travelling by car. A token charge is acceptable, charges approximately £30 per night are blatantly excessive. I find these charge costs massively objectionable and a major deterent to making reservations.

Hotel location is good ... 5 mins walking to a lively shopping street, 10 mins walking to the central train station, 15 mins walking to the Royal Place or Grand Place, etc and still remains quiet for good nights' rest. Breakfast was served not in the atrium cafe but at a separate area which the staff were efficient. Breakfast service was typically western but good. The oven grilled tomatoes were excellent! Go early to avoid the crowd though. The attitude of the Lead service staff at the atrium cafe were not good. The quality of the extra bed was poor as compared to similar class hotels. The main restaurant in the hotel was not prominent. We only noticed it during our last night in the hotel!

Gorgeous breakfast, Excellent and quiet room, Great staff and beautiful hotel. The parking is not free, the room is a bit smaller than in the pictures, and we were expecting more free extras in the room. But, still, just a little things to point out as not positive. Great experience.

If you want to stay centrally, have a nice businessroom and eat a good breakfast, you should stay here. However, if you have demands for good service and the feeling of actually staying at a five star hotel then you should choose something else. It was nice and clean, but "the extra mile" missing throughout. We were down at the front desk 3 times to ask them to open our safety box that was closed at our check-in, we had to ask for correct number of glasses, bathrobes, shampoo and coffee cartridges in the room. Such should not have to ask for when you claim to be five-star hotel. We still don't know where their "executive business lounge" is. Nobody told us where to find it, opening times, or what was available at our service. Sauna was included in the businessrooms and is in no way worth paying extra for. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. The receptionist thought we should bring it from the room's bathroom or go back down there and have the shower if we wanted to wash the hair. Breakfast was very good and was included in the room rate. The environment was nice, but you had to ask for the coffee and nothing came to or from the table with a smile.

Good location to Grand Place. Shower rooms is small and they dont have a shower cartain, so the bathroom area can be messy with water.

After looking on the internet for value hotels to stay in brussels we chose radisson blu royal hotel as it was valeUe for money plus the fact of being a five starr hotel. We were not disappointed on arrival. We were a couple of hours early to check in and our room was available. The staff and concierge were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful to look at from the glass elevator with the great view of the lobby area plus the friendly bar atsmosphere where we enjoyed cocktails. The hotel is also situated very close to the city centre and restaurants. My son, daughter and I have never stayed in a 5 star hotel before and we found this experience very enjoyable and memorable. I will definitely be telling my friends back in Australia about the beautiful city of Brussels plus the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel stay. Kathy Lockhart.

Location, friendliness of staff and a comfortable room. Business Class and Club facilities can be confusing. I assumed there was a club facility which I experience in many hotels I stay in, where snacks and beverages and staff service is provided. However the option available of an off-the-lifts area where coffee water and the odd fruit or croissant was available was not quite the club I may have mistaken the Business Class for. However this could well be my misunderstanding.

The morning buffet served the best omelet I've ever had! Special coffee service (with various packets) was nice, too. But according to my friend, yogurt was too sweet. Because there was no packing on the glass shower/bath door installed on the bath tub, shower water went through the bathing room floor, which is not conveneient nor comfortable.

Business rooms were great, clean, secure hotel in an excellent location. Friendly staff, in-room dining was great. Overcharged initially but sorted quickly. Requests made via email and phone not done when we got into room (empty minibar and cot for child). When minibar was emptied almost 800 euros added to bill :) but this was rectified.

I had no complaints about the hotel - the rooms were very big (we were upgraded to business class) and the breakfast was excellent. The location is central to all amenities including shopping and restaurants. The metro was a 5 minute walk for easy access to bruparck (atomium and oceade)

Great location, nice comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We did not have breakfast due to the price(30euro per person) yet this seems to be the standard for most Brussels hotels and was not really an issue as there were so many cafes close by. Also a basic bottle of wine from room service very expensive ( plus a 7euro service charge!)

Great location, good on site (payment required) underground parking. Lovely bedrooms although bathroom a bit basic for 5 star and no separate hand towels only bath towels. Lovely hotel ruined by rude staff who do not understand concept of good service. Breakfast buffet manager Jesus gets first prize for incompetence and rudeness. Took 15 minutes (and 3 reminders!) before bringing baby highchair requested on arrival. Chaos in the buffeft, tiny service window for fresh eggs, guests waiting for orders blocking the self service hot food. Very busy and loud. Manager focused only on seating people asap (except babies!), no concept of service at all, very rude. Chambermaid knocked on the door early despite do not disturb sign. Reception staff all think acceptable to carry on personal conversations with each other as well as with guests.

Everything was OK, however, I would propose to highlight that there are two Radisson Blu hotels in Brussels because we were disappointed when learning that our reservation had been confirmed by the second one. Nice news (at 22.30) from a receptionist!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms... The bathroom door is a sliding door and does not shut even if closed fully, in brief the is no privacy whatsoever, sounds can be heard in details for every activity one makes in the bathroom.... I do understand someone suggested it ??? but cannot understand someone at this high level in such a leading chain of hotel have approved it. The green light of the a/c control placed int he middle of he room facing the bed is too bright at night, first I noticed the previous occupent had bent the door ( do not disturb sigh ) and kind of stuck it sqeezed behind it and bent it to block the light from the control pannel, in breif I took it of and thought that he was too light sensistive , but found myself replacing it as the light was kind of a bit on the bright side, unfortunatly facing the side I like to sleep on ....
