There was a lot of banging and drilling from nearby rooms from 8am to 6pm
Everything. The location was excellent, very central to all attractions, shops, restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was rich and of good quality. Staff was helpful and smiling. Room service was nice and fast. We stayed in Business Class Floor 6 in a room facing the street. The view was not excellent but we did not need it, since we were there for only 2 days and were out all day long. Room facilities and furnitures were very modern and good looking. Very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.
We were expecting a little more larger room. Also it would be better if there was a price list on the minibar. Since we were told that the minibar is free, we were not sure whether the sparkling wine was included in the service or not and in the end we were charged.
Terrific friendly staff who went out of their way to assist with directions, dinner reservations and tour plans. Very comfortable room with great bed and pillows. Highly recommend.
Breakfast was a bit too expensive. A bit noisy with recent renovations but not too troublesome.
The location, the rooms.
The first floor was under renovation but that is just a temporary inconvenience.
Nice hotel, comfortable room, very close to the center.
Due to the renovation process above our room, we suffered from the noises during the day, luckily in the week-end, they did not work... We did not get any information about the renovation a above our room, which caused bad surprise and a little disappointment.
this hotel is centrally located and great for seeing everything near the grand place.
could use a better a gym.
Staff seemed junior
Big rooms Bath
A bit dated
The breakfast The room was very nice The hotel was beautiful We liked the little space next to the lift. I have not seen that in any other hotel.
The bed was a bit firm In the morning the maids were already knokking on the door several times. That made us feel uncomfortble. The temperature of the room was a bit warm during the night. The bathroom was a little higher than the room and I had to get used to that.
The business room I was upgraded to was beautiful Reception staff was super efficient
The room I was given initially was old fashioned, freezing cold and noisy. Luckily I was upgraded without discussion
Location and services
Fantastic location and quiet. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends.
Good location Nice room
Breakfast very limited due to renovation works. Sauna not operational. No good price-quality relationship
Booked this hotel as it looked the nicest and being my birthday weekend I didnt mind spending a little extra however the whole weekend was a nightmare, The room smelt very bad, There was renovation work going on so we didnt get any sleep as the drilling started early morning, Had we been advised of this we would have chosen a different hotel. The air con in the room was not working properly therefore we were melting all night and the bed was a double but so small and uncomfortable, Very very disappointed, What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend was a horrible restless nightmare!
The atrium restaurant which is a beautiful place to be with the preserved city wall
Breakfast, bed, room, all exceptional.
Hard to get a taxi form this hotel.
Nice hotel, good location, fabulous room.
Renovation work going on, very noisy at times.
Somewhere in the Radisson organisation are some very talented interior designers. We've stayed in a few of the Blu chain and what significantly sets them apart from other, similar hotels is the tasteful and striking decor in the public areas and guest rooms. The Radisson Blu Royal (there's another Blu in Brussels but not so central) is no exception. For a city centre business hotel the designers have gone the extra mile. The exterior is as anonymous as can be but stepping inside offers a great contrast. And the designers have made the most of what little history attaches to the building by exposing old stonework in the striking central atrium where three space capsule elevators rise and fall above the reception, bar and restaurant areas. The blend of old a new is cleverly done and is complemented by attention to detail in lighting, colours, fittings and fabrics. And so to the room – business class on the sixth floor with which we were well satisfied. It was spacious, restful and well furnished. Our view was into the atrium but this was not an issue since outside rooms tend have views of office buildings. The only downside is that you can't really tell what the weather is doing! We settled on this our hotel for our three day stay in Brussels after a fair bit of research and we were well pleased both with it and its location. It is very central in this compact, walkable city centre. Turn in one direction from the hotel and you soon find yourself in Les Galeries Saint Hubert which leads right out onto the main square. An easy five minute stroll. Turn in another direction from the hotel and you will soon be climbing the gentle hill to the cathedral. Beyond that, just a few more minutes' walk, is a pleasant park leading to the palace. Come evening, the streets around the hotel have plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk.
Firstly, the guest room air-con. It doesn't work. Sort it out please, Radisson, Secondly, the sliding bathroom door. It isn't noise proof. A mistake.
The hotel is at a convenient location nearby the grand place, eateries, subway station, and also many other signature locations in brussels if one is a tourist.
The classic room that we got were a little old and need refurbishment. Nothing was broken but the room does look a little gloomy. It wasn't at all like the pictures we saw on booking.com
Friendly staff, comfortable bed and nice room
Great, central location to main tourist attractions - we walked everywhere. 10 minutes walk from Brussels Central Station - no need to take a taxi or metro. Good quality breakfast. Quiet location.
Breakfast was good, but quite expensive.
Nice hotel, friendly staff
Breakfast somewhat mesdy due to overhaul restoration. Otherwise good
Helpful and friendly staff, large rooms.
Boring design, nothing nice in near proximity, needs a total makeover!
Lovely and clean hotel. Good location. Good wifi.
I stayed for two nights in the hotel. When booking I requested a large double bed. However on arrival we were given a room with two single beds pushed together and two seperate quilts. Not wanting to make a fuss I spoke to a lady in reception on the morning after our first nights stay and brought this to her attention. I said we would be put up with the two single beds but could we please have one large quilt for our second night to which she agreed and said she would inform housekeeping. To our disappointment this was not carried out.
Exellent staff, always kind, helpful and cooperative.
I would have appreciated a complimentary half-litre mineral-water bottle.
