Radisson BLU Balmoral  

Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. Great for a short stopover while visiting a motorsport event at Spa Francorchamps.

The accommodation blocks are not nearly as nice as the reception area and feel a bit run down when you walk through them but the room was fine. So only a very minor criticism.

The quality and friendliness of the service received was excellent. Accomodation was more than we expected. Location ideal. would stay there again and probably will.

although it advertised a pool, we did not take notice of the small print. since it was part of the wellness facility, the pool was not available to children up to age of 16 during most of the day. that was a bit disappointing. having said that, if in Spa, you have to go to the Spa and that more than compensates.

Well equipped, well staffed hotel with great in-house amenities (particularly wellness centre). Cleathliness of room was important and didn't disappoint. Bed extremely comfortable.

As other guests have noted, the parking is inadequate if there is high occupancy, as there was in our case (viz., a small convention).

Located in the forest, but no walking paths around. Good parking. Beautifull old hotel, nicely maintened outside. Friendly reception.

No towels in Wellness center, sauna is almost cold (around 40 c), too much chlor in jacuzzi (even eyes felt like burning), no bathrobes in spa and in the standard room. To get to spa you have to go through the restaurant, so it was not comfortable. Difficult to get a shower in spa center after pool and sauna so you have to do it in the room only. Key for lockers in spa you can get at reception only. As for the room - bed was too soft and not comfortable, so we had some pain in back after the night. Inside the hotel was not perfectly maintened for the hotel of such announced level.

The SPA/Wellness centre was very good. The cleaness of the room was incredible.

There's some small things that wasn't so good as the parking place where not all the cars of the clients can fit in. Another remark about the spaces of the bathroom, it was ok for one person but to cannot fit in. The beds was incredible soft and the room quite noisy.

High quality hotel and good breakfast

Driving up to Radisson Blamoral you will be instantly glad to have booked it. It is a very nice-looking hotel on a remote location, which makes the picture perfect. Very friendly staff offers good services and proper breakfast. A nice 1,5 km walk brings you the finicular which is the footway access to the classical town.

However nice a remote hotel can be, without a car it is nearly impossible to travel back and forth to town centre every once in a while, and we felt the advice from the hotel should be to come by car. Tennis court had one lousy ball which was chewed on by the dog. The modular grass was covered with mud and dangerous..

Toilet in room was tiny, room was nothing special, Tea and coffee tray was not refilled after the first night

The restaurant was amazing, and the Thermes are very close. The personal is also very nice.

The room is too small for "Superior".No space to walk in it.The shower has a bad design, so when you take a shower the floor is flooded.

Nice part of the world, grounds are very peaceful with decent car parking, but watch for pine cones dropping on your vehicle, breakfast is very good.

A/C fan was noisy and the electrical relay in the room to turn on the power with your room key buzzed constantly so much so I pulled the power during the night, reported both faults to staff who were concerned about the issue to find on my return that evening that it was all still the same.

Surrounding & food

pool, sauna , jacuzzi all clean and available.Calm athmosphere - no cleaning staff to be seen or heard or knocking on doors and yet everything was clean.Great option for late check-out.

the standard of treatment in the beauty center was poor

Ideaal gelegen , rustig en toch niet te ver af van alle bezienswaardigheden. Parking vlakbij , dichtbj alle invalswegen. Ontbijt zeer compleet en altijd goed bijgevuld. Welness proper,temperatuur zwembad perfect. Vriendelijk en meertalig receptie personeel.

Pech gehad kamer naast lift,geluidsisolatie kamer zou veel beter kunnen. Hygiene bar zou iets beter kunnen prijskaarten glazen , tafeltjes .... Anders alles goed verlopen.
