Radisson BLU Palace Hotel  

Easy accessibility to the Spa. Comfy robes. Delicious and plentiful breakfast.

Standard room beds were not comfortable and were 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single duvet covers which wasn't ideal for me and my husband.

Hospitality of the staff, the funicular, the food at the restaurant, the facility of the terms of the spa, they were all very satisfactory.

The reception staff were particularly helpful both before and during our stay. The link with the Thermes de Spa is very convenient.

Sunday breakfast is very busy. In fairness, guests are warned to avoid 0945 to 1045 but it was still very crowded between 0915 and 0945. Set menu offered with Spa Package rather "dull"and house red wine compared unfavourably to that offered by a local restaurant the night before.

Funicular system to reach Spa.

Nice big room with all the comfort you need. The best feature is the private elevator/funiculaire to the thermes de Spa on the top of the hill, so easy to change in your batrobe in your room and then just walk over to the thermes

The 3-course dinner that was included in the special package deal was not good, just acceptable, which was too bad, because I really liked this hotel. And stay away from the house wines, they are horrible

Great location right next the the Therme Spa with the funicilar. You don't even have to go outside! Good parking and easy access to everything. I will go back for more spa treatments!

Personal furnicular to Spa makes you feel quite special. They have an all day deal which is good value and they enable you to use it even on the day you book out, which is great if you've got a late departure time.

Expensive parking

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpfull in making our stay enjoyable. The hotel restaurant is realy fine but there are a lot of gourmet restaurants just outside the door. Spa also boasts one of the most beautifull golf courses in Belgium. Finaly the "teleportation" to the beautifull public Spa installation by private funicular is mind bogling.

A lot of "students" are on the staff, kind and smiling but not always efficient.

It's in the middle of the spa city, very close to restaurants. You can park in front of the hotel if parking space available (free). There's a direct lift from the hotel to spa area.

We were not satisfied with the quality of the food served during the breakfast. It's far from other Radisson Blu Hotels' standards. The staff serving and the cleaning the breakfast area were not happy to be there, doing their jobs without the the necessary attention causing a lot of noise with forks/knives etc. I think they don't have enough people to cover the services.

Comfort, location and direct access to the Thermes Spa

Sitting on terasse and eating lunch at the hotel restaurant was quite noisy because of the parking just in front of the hotel and car alarms...

Paid €112 via booking.com. Was actually charged €126 for the room. Only realised this later. Stupid staff member took the €112 as a deposit then charged full rate. Not happy but have better things to do than spend time sorting this out. There's also a local tax to pay on departure so look out for that.

Totaal pakket

Er kunnen geen ouders met 2 kinderen op dezelfde kamer logeren. Ondanks vooraf besteld en geen reaktie van het hotel gekregen. 3 van de 4 bestelde kamers waren niet in orde na 17 uur de volgende dag, en na mijn reaktie bij de receptie kreeg ik als reden dat er teveel nieuwe klanten waren aangekomen !!! De verantwoordelijke voor het kamerpersoneel was zeer onvriendelijk, waarschijnlijk door de drukte !!!

prachtige ligging inclusief de lift naar de Thermen prettig personeel en de mogelijkheid om pas om 12.00 uur uit te checken!
