Renaissance Brussels HotelRue Parnasse 19, 1050 Brussels (Show map) Excellent, Score from 1271 reviews“The location was excellent, just a ten-minute walk to the Metro for connections into central Brussels or a twenty-minute walk to Place Louise, which is one of the most scenic locations in the city. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional and the fitness centre was superb. My room was spotlessly clean and quiet. A lovely stay all round. ”

Comfortable bed and free access to the adjoining World Class health club. Not a very modern hotel; no wifi, and only cabled connection at the extortionate rate of 20€ a day. Impossible to regulate temperature in the room which was fixed at 22.5 C. Bathroom refurbishment long overdue (bathtub chipped etc). Radisson Blue EU across the street offers significantly better value for the same money if you want to stay in this neighbourhood.

Very poor service The room was too hot 26 degree and the air conditioning is not functioning well They told me that they can't change the room on my first day and all what they can do is to offer a fan and asked me keep the window open the whole night! The second day they changed my room and I had the same air conditioning problem 2nd day, when I returned to my room the holder of the towels was broken! Internet cost 20 euros per day! Not reasonable at all!

The charge of 10 Euros per day in the weekend was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels. The breakfast was excellent and even though we showed up somewhat late there was still enough to eat. The only thing missing were the delicious waffles we had during our previous stay there. I don't understand people complaining about the location being "too far from the city center". Don't you choose the hotel yourself? Check the location on a map beforehand and stop whining. The water stream in the shower was a little weak, as was the power of the hairdryer (but at least there was one). Too bad the small section of arcade videogames they had 2 years ago was gone.

Very nice hotel with a resonably priced Steak House restaurant. The staff in all areas were outstanding. In an age where access to the internet is important, paying 20 Euros per day at this hotel for access can only be termed as highway robbery. The cost of this service should be free, or a nominal charge. I will no longer recommend hotels that gouge their guests with outrageous fees for internet access.

Thanks to a special offer, we could stay at this hotel for only 60 Euros per night (double room). Its location is ideal for those who wants to visit the European Parliament and feel the internation atmosphere of Place Luxembourg. All the hotel is very elegant, quiet and comfortable. The centre is not far by walk. The global impression is that we've been very lucky. Just two little details. 1) I asked through a comment in booking.com to have a twin bed and we had 2 separate beds. I think it's better to call them to confirm the reservation on booking.com and its details 2) The taps in the bathroom (shower and sink) were not easy to settle to get the right temperature: it was a bit hard to move them.

The staff, so friendly and hard working and attentive. The leisure facilities were excellent and the best ever for a city hotel. Rooms really clean and tidy, bar food v good also. The only problem was with the breakfast on the sunday morning, there was a lot of people who were waiting to be seated I believe because of the hotel being full!.. At breakfast the toaster was working v slowly and eventually was taken away and we could not have toast..... The staff worked really hard and were always happy to assist though.

Excellent stay, with friendly staff and service. Comfortable, quiet room. Was unable to use iPad in my room, because there is not yet wifi throughout the hotel. As your competitors close by already have this (free) facility, I shall always factor it into future bookings.

Great hotel for its price. The room was spacious, clean and provided with all the necessary, including iron, teapot (with free tea sachets and instant coffee) etc. Free access to fitness and swimming pool is also great. The bus stop to the airport is just 3 minutes walking distance. There are few bars and cafe around so no problem with having a cup of beer or a dinner. No free Wi-Fi neither in rooms, nor in public area. The price of 6.95 eur per hour seem to be quite high. Breakfast is quite expensive. Everything else is great.

Clean, luxury rooms. The location is next to the Europarliament, but still in walking distance (<2km) from old town. No wireless internet in rooms (if you pay for internet in your room, you will get only cable connection).

Got upgraded, great place, nice rooms, nice pool, central to business . district and not to far from centre. Also got a great price :-) None really, except the internet was €6.50 and hour and I could not be lent a plug adaptor as had to buy it for €8.50. Guess this is a business hotel but when you are paying it hurts!

Excellent service, nice breakfast (American), the room has almost everything you need (including iron and ironing table). 5 minutes to Troon metro station. The hotel is nice, ellegant and tidy, big safe (you can leave a 15" laptop in it). You have the feeling you paid less than it actually worths. No wireless Internet in the room, both lobby wireless and cabled room Internet are very, very expensive - I think free wi-fi in the room should be a standard for every respectful hotel. The furniture was not wiped in the room, at check-in; there was no dust, only some very thin layer of "thin fluffy stuff" ( I do not know how it is called) from the trees outside. Not bothering, anyway.

We loved the hotel and the staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean, with a huge bed and a huge TV, which we liked very much. The breakfast was amazing! I am just sory that I forgot my swimming suit so I couldn't go swimming in the hotel pool. I'll do that next time because I'm definitely coming back.

Excellent staff, very helpful. Great hotel for business and city trips. It's located right next to the European parliament, 20-30' on foot from the center or 5' from Trône metro station. We had booked quite in advance and asked for twin beds for one of the rooms. The room had a double bed, they said it' wasn't guaranteed we'd get a twin one and suggested we pay 15€ more for an extra bed. This is all by the book, but I was expecting something better. I didn't think it's that hard to book a twin beds room after all.
