Ambiance, Attentive owner and its location.

Mmes Celimene and Fatima were so welcoming, and couldn't have been kinder or more helpful . My apartment was lovely - and when I had to skip a couple of Fatima's delicious breakfasts (because of work demands), they dropped by fruit, yogurts, and cereal bars! The building is a delight - and atmosphere, old worldly and comfortable. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Staff, location and opportunities to choose for many things inside (breakfast, check in, check out time. The personnel spends enough time with the gusts explaining all details about the city, good restaurants, shopping area, etc.

The employee was very nice and helpful. The płace is in fact B'n'B and when you look at it from this perspective it is nice. Clean, furnishing quite ok.

At first I was a bit suspicious as there was no "hotel sign" or so but the hospitality, the beautifully renovated building and the high quality service were just amazing. I had a sauna and a jacuzzi in my suit that was just perfect to end a busy day with relaxation.

The fact that it is a hotel should be more visible from outside. You first become very worried when the taxi stops in front of a usual building at midnight with no sign at all that it is indeed your hotel.

The hostess was very helpful, showing me where I could eat late at night in the area, and how to get to my next destination. Breakfast was excellent and in a family style with other guests around the table. The whole place is like a 'home from home'.

Die 'Résidence' ist eher ein Bed & Breakfast und wird sehr freundlich und familiär geführt. Man teilt sich den Frühstückstisch mit anderen Gästern, was zu interessanten Gesprächen führen kann, wenn man das mag. Die Lage ist ruhig, das Zimmer selbst habe ich als nicht so angenehm empfunden - das mag aber Geschmackssache sein (sehr heller hoher Raum, das Bett quasi mitten im Zimmer ohne Ablagemöglichkeit/Nachttisch). WLAN kostenlos, aber langsam.

Nagyon jó helyen van a szállás, valóban 10 percre az EU-s intézményektől és kb. 5 percre az Arts Loi metró megállótól. A személyzet nagyon készséges.

Az én szobámban az ágy nagyon nyikorgott, éjszaka mindig felébredtem rá, amikor megfordultam. A szobák elég kicsit és nagyon zsúfoltak, hosszú időt nem tudnék eltölteni, de egy éjszakára az elhelyezkedése miatt és a készséges házigazda miatt nagyon jó!

Sehr herzlicher Empfang - Un accueil trés symphatique!

Kellemes meglepetés volt ebben a gyönyörű 19. századi házban lakni Brüsszel közepén, az EUs intézmények és a központ határán. A szállás személyzete, ill. tulajdonosa kivételesen kedves volt, mindent megtettek azért hogy a lehető legjobban teljen az ottlétem. Biztosan visszamegyek. Akinek nem elég a standard tucatszállás és valami másra vágyik, ide kell jönnie. ** I choose this hotel accidentally, but never had more luck, the authentic athmosphere of the old Brussels house and the outstanding hospitality with excellent location for both EU affairs/leisure make this hotel my best choice (and I've been to some in the city..) recommended!

Ho soggiornato nello "studio", appartamento distaccato, situato a 50 metri dall'hotel. La sistemazione è enorme (4 camere, cucina e bagno con idromassaggio), pulito, in ordine, con due televisioni e internet gratuito. Molto molto bello.

Freundliches Personal, familiäres Ambiente. Ruhiges Zimmer. Ordentliches Frühstück an einem großen Tisch mit anderen Gästen, vielleicht aber nicht jedermann Sache. Ich fand es gut. Zimmergröße in Ordnung.

Für den Preis von 119 € unglaublich einfach. Kein richtiges Bad, winzige alte Toilette mit winzigem Waschbecken. Duschkabine im Zimmer aufgestellt. Kein richtiger Bürosessel. Fernsehprogramme nicht einfach intuitiv bedienbar, auch schriftliche Anleitung fehlte, so dass ich nicht fernsehen konnte. Kein Telefon. Unfassbar: Uraltzimmerschlüssel, der nicht an Rezeption ausgehändigt wurde, sondern in einem Schränkchen in der Nähe der Zimmertür versteckt war und dort zu deponieren war ("damit das Zimmermädchen reinkommt"). Eigentlicher Wert maximal 50 € pro Nacht.

Sehr nette und freundliche, individuelle persönliche Betreuung.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war ein bisschen schäbig mit zusammengesuchten Möbeln, stark quietschendem Bett und einer Dusche mitten im Zimmer. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfand ich daher insgesamt als grenzwertig, aber dies ist ja leider in Brüssel sehr häufig der Fall.

The warm welcome and the nice breakfast.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel anonyme mais une maison d'hôtes qui a un caractère tout comme sa propriétaire qui s'efforce de faire les choses au mieux pour le petit nombre de personnes que la maison peut accueillir. Il y a une bonne ambiance dans tout l'immeuble et à la table du petit déjeuner où se côtoient tous les clients. En l'absence d'un ascenseur, on m'a offert de l'aide pour mes bagages lourds.

The classic interior design was so elegant - I think no expenses were spared to decorate the place. The landlady, Celimene, was a delight to meet, we spend hours talking at breakfast and I nearly missed the start of my meeting. The quality of the food and drinks at breakfast were very high - with everything fresh, all one has to do is just ask her and Fatima, the lovely cook, will prepare for you. Better even, it is worth contacting Celimene in advance if one has special dietary requirements, and she will try her best to meet them in time for your arrival. The rooms seemed more modernly decorated (at least the one I stayed in), but well appointed and comfortable nevertheless. Perhaps not the place to stay if one prefers the cold and impersonal treatment of the large hotels, but conversely if you want to feel a little at home in your business trips and meet interesting people (including the landlady and the cook!), then it is definately worth giving Residence Marie Therese a go.

The personal and special attention towards the customers, the atmosphere of the building was inspiring.

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone who values excellent hospitality and location (2 mins from Parc de Bruxelles- a jogging paradise, close to the EU institutions), rooftop terrace and free wifi, not to mention the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast! I'll be returning guest.

De huiselijke sfeer van het ontbijt.

L'accueil excellent, personnalisé et chaleureux, les propriétaires et le personnel sont très sympathiques, la proximité des institutions européennes à pied, la chambre très lumineuse, le petit déjeuner copieux et l'accès internet compris. J'ai pu disposer de ma chambre à mon arrivée le matin et on m'a offert un petit déleuner. Belle résidence et salle de petit déjeuner, salon.

La chambre de base est équipée d'une douche confortable et pas de baignoire, la résidence ne dispose pas d'ascenseur, ce qui n'est pas génant du tout.
