What you would expect from such a facility. Clean and well equipped
big departments, good decoration, functional
Location, spacy room, comfortable bedroom
Not very clean, especially bathroom.
Staff were helpful & courteous, room was bigger than expected and very clean. Underground parking was also a bonus. Will use these apartments again
Kitchen could have been better equiped
The location is superb. Nice and quiet.
Wi-Fi should be included in the price for hotel guests (short term rentals) and it should be of much better quality, especially when you're paying for it.
The location to the EU Parliament and the bustle of Place du Luxembourg with its vibrant bars and restaurants.
The wooden floor noise from the apartment above - they got up early!
The location is ideal for business and/or pleasure. Privacy is complete and very important. Staff is professional and ready to serve.
Parking is confusing for tenants.
Size of the apartment.Nice quiet area. That's it.
No free wi-fi.No breakfast. It's not really a hotel but an apartment building. They keep 100euro deposit in your credit card for what seems to be like forever!!!
Peaceful tranquil view over the gardens.
pumping music from the gymn during classes in the morning at lunch and in the evening. No proper facilities for making coffee (there was a silly Nespresso machine with no sachets and nowhere to buy them). These machines make terrible coffee, even if I had been able to find some of the expensive sachets.
near the EU-buildings
The location is definitely the best feature of the Thon Hotel Residence Parnasse if you're going on a business trip that involves the European Institutions. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel grants you access a well-equipped gym nearby. Internet access is quite fast, if expensive (however, given the location you can get free and fast internet access in virtually any bar and restaurant around the hotel).
The main issue of the hotel is definitely the staff (on which I have to agree with the previous comments). On the day of my arrival I've been waiting for half an hour outside the premises because literally nobody was there (two telephone numbers were indicated on the front door, one for normal issues and the other emergencies but neither was answered by anyone). When the lady who was supposed to be there arrived the situation did not improve: haste, impoliteness, imprecise information. I had a much better impression of the staff working in the following mornings but, still, I could not even check out n person because the computers were not working. Maybe I was just unlucky, but probably the management of the hotel may give a thought about reassessing the overall customer experience. The kitchen looks like coming from a different era from the rest of the apartment (the other rooms were clean and modern, the kitchen looked old and dirty). Finally, something really difficult to explain is why would you put such a big bed and wardrobe in such a small room. Actually, the result is that the wardrobe door cannot be opened because it hits against the bed and it is impossible to walk in the room without having to slide along the wooden wardrobe or bend somehow.
Space, facilities, location, value for money.
Of course, you don't get a restaurant or room service, but reception sells necessities and there is a fully equipped kitchen in the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. What more could you want?
The possibility to check out a little bit later and the possibility to use the parking (€20 per day)
Wifi is not working in the appartment and other guests had a similar problem
Clean apartment and well fitted
Free wifi would be a good move
- Location is quite in a hotels area - 5 minutes away by car to the city centre
- Not fully equipped kitchen. - Very small rooms
Wow! What a lovely place to stay for a family with 2 grown up children. We would definitely like to come back here and spend longer! Beds were amazingly comfortable- linen and towels all clean and crisp- gorgeous!! Really nice having 2 toilets and very spacious accommodation. Balcony was a nice touch as was the air con which we needed whilst we were there!!
The kitchen facilities look a little past their best- time to renew and replace a few appliances I think! All in all though- everything worked and was thoroughly clean!!
The location and facilities were superb.
extra charge for extra bed linens and Internet.
The apartment was really nice.
The apartment itself was great, spacious and clean. The parking and hallways were not as pleasant as they are older and outdated, and the parking lot has multiple entraces to various buildings and directions were not explained correctly, and our key cards were not activated initially. It was very troublesome.
The staff was not friendly and did not treat us well. The initial check in the woman didn't activate our cards to get into the building from the parking lot. Lugging our luggage around was very tiring and a big pain. When I checked out, there is no one there from 11pm to 7am. I got in late, and we left at 6:45am. There is a buzzer and a man anwered and was very, very rude. It was not clear to drop keys in the mail box on the exterior of the building. It was a terrible experience to have to deal with him.
Great location near place de Luxembourg. Nice sized apartment with good cooking facilities. Staff were very helpful and allowed us to do a late check out which helped us a lot. Overall I would recommend it.
Access to a very complete gym, pretty good located if you have meetings in EU area. I liked the kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine
Wifi system via Telenet is not very user friendly and you need to re-log-in constantly. A more efficient (and complimentary) wifi would be a very good improvement.
Location, spacious room, balcony, facilities. Just everything!
Some furniture and equipoment need small fixing. Free WiFi would be great
The location and serenity
some of the furniture were aged and needed fixing
Comfortable with good facilities in a very convenient location for Place de Luxembourg
