This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. Since our last stay they have made many improvements on what was already a very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The division between the sleeping and sitting areas make them more like suites than just rooms. Anne-Aymone, the manager, is fluent is several languages and she puts her guests first. She never seems to be more than a few steps away when you need her. The breakfast is of a high standard and leaves nothing out. Baked goods are purchased fresh every day from the patisserie next door ; cold cuts are fresh and of very good quality. We will continue to return often to the Hotel Royal. If you choose to go to De Panne, you need to go as a traveler rather than a tourist. This place can be best enjoyed if you immerse yourself in their culture.

This was certainly the best hotel we have stayed in De Panne. Very comfortable and a good continental breakfast. Only sorry that we were only staying for 1 night on this trip.

Could have supplied tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Not every room my group occupied had teamaking facilities, but other than that we had no adverse comments at all

Friendliness of hostess who is a polyglot of four to five languages. Class of establishment and old world atmosphere. Location on an attractive avenue leading to the beach. Remarkable variety and excellence of breakfast. Professionalism throughout. Very pleased indeed.

Staff, room size, hygiene, facilities in room.

The balcony size. The pillows on the bed. The bathroom door lock.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, good location near to beach, shops,restaurants and coast tram line.

WiFi was chargeable (over 8 Euros per stay) which was excessive for a one night stay. Free parking difficult to find near hotel. No eating permitted in rooms (other than hotel's room service) - 100 euro fine threat.

Beautiful hotel, spotless rooms, amazing breakfast, Anne the owner couldn't do enough for us, even upgraded us to a junior suite on arrival.

Lovely room, fantastic host, superb breakfast, central location, free parking. Can't recommend highly enough and will definately return.

No free wifi, charge for tea and coffee in room, but won't stop us from going again!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Royal. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the bathrooms are well equipped. The staff are freindly and helpful and the breakfasts are first class. We shall be returning to stay again when we next visit Belgium.

The location was good,everything was of high standard the room was very clean spacious and the bathroom was spotless and modern.Found the breakfast very good with wide choice and fresh produce and the lady in charge(sorry forgot name) was very friendly and more than helpful. Would like to stay there again.
