Functional hotel and most staff were friendly.

The parking is not given as an option on booking.com although the hotel seem to think it is. Also due to roadworks the directions to the hotel were incorrect.

good location, just 2 minutes from the beach. the room was not so big, but clean and comfortable. good breakfast. nice stuff. everything was ok))

the price was not so pleasing, as everyone wants ;)

The staff were helpful and efficient yet also friendly. Oostende is notoriously a difficult place to find parking so the hotel car park, although expensive, was a real bonus. We didn't have time to use the leisure facilities but they looked excellent. The breakfast was very good.

Although only a minor complaint, for the price paid I would have expected tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also I would have considered dinner in the hotel but this had to have been booked in advance.

parking at the hotel was expensive and if you parked outside hotel you had to mount a rather large kerb, so parking in underground park at euro 16 a day was expensive. The room we occupied was on the first floor and immediately opposite was a tram station, and as the room only had large curtains anyone waiting for a tram could see into room, whereas if blinds or lace curtains had been installede this would not have been possible.

The Reception staff was very helpful. We had a complaint about a door handle in our room coming off and 2minutes later they gave us a different room.

That we were not able to eat dinner in the Hotel because we did not book this a day in advance.

The rooms were a good size, the beds were very comfortable. The pool could have been open longer perhaps 08:00 - 20:00. a favourite haunt for our grandson and one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel, a wise one.

The wi-fi provision was poor considering it is a charged for.

Vary relaxing and friendly

Spa, location and food are perfect, I love it and will restay there agaign in future.

The Sports Facilties, Ambience, and the Brekfast.Very Good.

We stayed one night only, but it was far from a pleasant stay. Except for the flatscreen Tv everything is far below a 3-star hotel. We stayed at a room on the 3rd floor, on which we could not open a window. The door is the only possibility. We had to let the water run for 3 minutes before we had warm water, and then the water turn from cold to reasonably hot bacck to cold again, constantly. Etc etc. This was a one and only visit to the ''Royal" Astrid.

Has parking on site which is quite unusual in Ostend.
