Functional hotel and most staff were friendly.

The parking is not given as an option on booking.com although the hotel seem to think it is. Also due to roadworks the directions to the hotel were incorrect.

good location, just 2 minutes from the beach. the room was not so big, but clean and comfortable. good breakfast. nice stuff. everything was ok))

The staff were helpful and efficient yet also friendly. Oostende is notoriously a difficult place to find parking so the hotel car park, although expensive, was a real bonus. We didn't have time to use the leisure facilities but they looked excellent. The breakfast was very good.

Although only a minor complaint, for the price paid I would have expected tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also I would have considered dinner in the hotel but this had to have been booked in advance.

parking at the hotel was expensive and if you parked outside hotel you had to mount a rather large kerb, so parking in underground park at euro 16 a day was expensive. The room we occupied was on the first floor and immediately opposite was a tram station, and as the room only had large curtains anyone waiting for a tram could see into room, whereas if blinds or lace curtains had been installede this would not have been possible.

I liked the fact The Royal Astrid is close to the beach and the town,I found all the staff very helpfull and eger to please in any way they could. The on site car parking is a boon after traveling for best part of 12 hours. I would highly recomend this hotel to anyone as a good base from which to explore the area as it is only 15 mins fromthe railway station.

The location, the staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and very good value for money. The bar area is most welcoming with your gorgeous fire - the restaurant is clean.

The amount of road and building works going on at the moment - made this trip difficult to navigate to get to the hotel this time - hopefully next time it will be complete. The smell outside of the hotel, which I presume is drains - not very pleasant - and also the fact the you charge for parking underground which I feel should be free if staying at the hotel.

No nonse hotel met goede kamers, uitgebreid ontbijt. Kortom goed.

Location. Breakfast.

Smell in a room. Depressing colors on the walls. Noise.

On arrival the staff were very welcoming, we enjoyed relaxing in the spa and pool. The close proximity of the hotel to the tram was fantastic as it made getting about really easy. An excellent weekend break!

It's location, near to the beach and the city center

The hotel/rooms start slowly to look a bit out-dated. The hotel could use a re-styling. And the timing would be perfect now, with the ongoing construction works next door (new street & parking), which results in a lot of noise.

Location near the beach. Room is suitable for smail kids.

Waiting for check in is late about 15-20 mins.
