Great location, 3 mins walk to the grand place and central Station...nice room and bathroom, helpful and friendly staffs... You have to pay to use the wifi in the hotel, was told by one of the staff that it only cost €10 for 24hrs if you are using apple devices (I.e iphone or ipad) and pay it online, however it didn't work and you have to get a voucher at the reception which cost €22 for 24 hrs, which is a bit expensive... The a/c is not working in our room and only moved to another room the next day as they said the hotel are fully booked....

The room was fairly standard size but was very nicely presented and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is just a couple of minutes walk from the Grand Place and a few minutes in the other direction to the Cathedral so very convenient. The facilities in the room were fine and the TV had several channels in different languages which would be useful if required. We cannot comment on the breakfast as €29 per person seemed far too expensive. There were plenty of small cafes / snack bars within a few minutes walk where you could pick up something more local and reasonably priced.

A very tired hotel, that could badly do with updating. The 'special offer' for dinner was reasonable but drinks were very expensive. Breakfast at €30 a complete rip off, lovely cafes nearby and good breakfast for €6.80. Chutneys restaurant is a bar serving food, not a restaurant and should be described as such.Niamh Mc Cutcheon.

nice beds in superior rooms 1. By mistake they took 1000 Euro from my account - i saw them back only in 5 days! 2. i booked superior - when i saw it it was awfull - stains on the carpet! They asked for 49 Euro including 2 breakfasts to have better rooms with wooden panels - it was good. but superior with modern design is just a nightmare!

When visiting Brussels we always stay at the Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place. The location has to be one of the best. It is an extremely nice hotel bordering on the luxurious. The staff are polite, professional and very helpful although, in our view, this time, some staff on the Reception Desk could do better, a smile costs nothing and on booking out, when we pointed out that we had been overcharged by 180 Euros we didn't even get an apology. It did nothing to spoil our enjoyment, however, and it definitely continues to remains our No.1 Choice. Some of the Reception Desk staff were a little morose with a 'doing us a favour' sort of attitude but this did not apply to everyone.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the city central railway station that connects to the airport and metro -- just couple of minutes walk. The staff is generally very friendly and helpful (but, see below). Overall a convenient location but could be very pricey. The rooms are not in great condition. The first room shower and air conditioning did not work, and the internet in the second room was faulty. The staff, while helpful, are not always very responsive--had to call them a few times before someone showed up to fix the problems. They did manage to find an alternate room when they found out that the a/c was not working. For the price one is paying for the rooms in this hotel, there may be better alternatives nearby if you know where to look for.

This was the finest hotel I stayed in on my 8 nights in Europe. The bed was so comfortable, the room was spacious, and the location was ideal. It was the best value in Brussels. I can't say enough about the hotel. Perfect!

The location of the Royal Windsor was great - just off the Grand Place and within easy walking distance to the Sablon. The rooms were comfortable but on the small side. We had a small cockroach in the bathroom - that staff very effectively dealt with it but it was disconcerting nonetheless. Check out queue was long. Nothing fundamentally wrong with the hotel but to my mind Brussels has better places to stay.

The location. The maids and baggage boys are excellent! The room had not been refurbished for a long long time! There were stains on the carpet, chipped furniture, the bath was old and yellowing, the bath mat had mould underneath, the room smelt of smoke (bad ventilation). There was no coffee making facility. They asked 8 Euro per day for one to be brought in!! They have an extra charge for room service itself! The receptionist the first night was grumpy and haughty!

The location was excellent as it was very near the train station and one can get directly from the airport to this train station. It was also very near to grand place. We also found it very suitable for us as we had booked a city your with viator and the office from which the tour was leaving was less than a five minute walk from the hotel. However we were not entirely satisfied with the bathroom in our room. The water pressure was extremely poor and the water went from being too hot to being too cold for no apparent reason making showering unpleasant. There were also a number of cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and arather large gap between the bottom of the bathroom door and the floor.

Location. However I would not rate at five star. More like four star. Small rooms with no extra facilities, i.e, incl tea/coffee machine, needle & thread. Carpet was stained, lampshade cracked, pillows very soft, telephone connection to kids room not working and although requested was not fixed during our stay. Chech in and out was smooth and parking services excellent although at a cost. No breakfast taken as we ate around the corner for much less and lovely fresh food.

The portier and the beauty and the fine colors of the room. One of the receptionists were not very polite or serviceminded. And paying 8 euro for getting into a computer, is too much, in a good hotel. This hotel seems to be much more interessed in money, than serving the customers.

We were so impressed with our weekend rate here and the luxury we had with our room. It was impressive, so beautifully decorated, clean and lovely soaps and lotions. This was a 4 or 5 star hotel and a real treat for us. I was so excited that I took a few photographs of it before we settled in. We shut the shutters the first night and it was so dark that we slept for 10 hours, sound proof too. They had a dining room special that was half off and we ate there the first night, fabulous and a classy ambiance. The location was terrific, a short walk from the train station. The lobby was spacious and the location for tourist was a Plus too. There was nothing not to like about this hotel and we're just grateful that rates are so reasonable for the weekend. If you're in Brussels for a weekend, don't hesitate to stay. Thanks Royal Windsor for this special treat.

Great location - close to both the central train station and the Grand Place. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The room was large, clean and air-conditioned and the bed was comfortable. Ideal for a city break, and reasonably priced for such a central location. The hotel itself - although very nice overall - did not appear 5 star. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the standard rooms, something I'd have expected in a hotel of this range. There was also considerable noise from a nightclub opposite the hotel which could be heard until late in the rooms at the front. The breakfast was 30 euros per person so we declined this, as there are dozens of cafés and restaurants serving fine food in the vicinity. Wifi is also expensive.

The comfort and location. The hotel is very close to the Grand Square and walking distance to most of the major attractions in the central part of the city. The room was quiet, clean, and well appointed. Rich wooden finishes and modern, clean bathroom. The front desk upgraded my room to business executive which provided coffee and tea. A nice gesture which was appreciated. Concierge was very helpful in suggestions for dining and getting around the area. He suggested the inter city train back to train station vs the metro system. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

We got a great deal on the room, probably because it was a national holiday on thursday and our second night was a friday. The rooms are more expensive monday through friday. Fantastic location to the heart of Brussels; just 3 minutes walk from the Grand Place. This gave great access to restaurants, bars and shopping. Because we were travelling by train it was only 5 minutes walk from Brussels Central station. The air conditioning in my room didn't seem to be working. My son's room was noticeably cooler. The room priced normally priced at 525 euros is way over priced. Fortunately we only paid 109 euros. I made one long distance call and the charge was exorbitant. In Lyon I had made a call of similar duration and it was 1/3 the cost.
