Breakfast was good
Most of the staff was very friendly, everything was clean, some things newer than others.
No mirror or towel holder in bathroom with toilet. When we went to check-out we called the front desk for 10 minutes with no answer, and then went to the front desk and no answer. We needed a taxi to get to the airport, luckily we walked down the street and found one...but I couldn't even check out, just had to leave the key at the front desk.
The location was probably the only positive thing about this hotel (close to the Central train station and pretty close to downtown). The wi-fi signal was not that bad, contrary to what I read in several reviews. The rest was just horrible.
Now, if you're choosing a nice comfortable 4 star hotel, do skip this one. I saw 2 rooms and both were extremely shabby but as I demanded to change rooms after I found the curtains in the 1st one to be lying on the floor along with the curtain rod I'll be waxing lyrical about the 2nd one. Where to begin? Cracks on the ceiling, smudges on the walls, a hole in the window letting in a draft, mold on the shower curtain, a hole in the tablecloth, large spots on the carpeting, halfhearted cleaning (teacups left dirty). The staff were very nice when they were available (not often). In short, if you think that a serious European hotel chain garantees you a decent stay, think again.
Good location and good price. Professional service. No problems encountered
Location, easy walk to major attractions, handy car parking. Peaceful at night.
Making payment by credit card not possible as the hotel's payment facility was not working.
Clean and modern.
Everything was great except the wifi
Good breakfest, localisation
The room was not heated at all before arriving (in December). Staing in the temerature of 12 degree just after arrival looks like survival camp not 3* hotel.
Located in a quiet location near Sablon, near many chocolate shops. The room was spacious and toiletries were well provided.WiFi was alright
The hotel looked and felt like it needed a refresh and maybe a refurbishment. Old TV, old bathroom, old colours. The rooms were noisy to the hallway. No iron and ironing board in the room. Breakfast was bland, uninspired and not tasteful. Room was expensive at 290 euro but booked day before in a very full Brussels, so beggars can't be choosers
Excellent location, spacy rooms, high speed Wi Fi internet connection.
Room was fairly clean, but the washstand sink was blocked. I’d reported that to front desk person in the morning and was told that they will clean it during the day. When I came back to my room quite late in the evening sink was still not cleaned…
Cleanliness and location was fine
Window did not close all the way, so the room was a bit cold. Shower head should be fixed.
Nice room, nice staff
Friendly staff Good breakfast
That we first got a key to a room (204) that wasn,t cleaned at all ( around 16.30) then were offered a room at the fourth floor (402) which appeared to be in the smoking area and still smelled of smoke and wasn't prepared for two persons, and then were offered a room (105 )at the first floor which wasn't to clean lacked the coffee and tea service. Next to that we had initially problems with the wifi.
The hotel is situated brilliantly - behind all major sightseeings and central station but in very silent street. Price-room-food ok
Really expects more from 4 stars hotel. Bathroom is old and dirty, the room smelled with sigarets despite it was positioned as non smoking. Book Just if you need a hotel as a hub for a night. If you plan a romantic weekend - that would be a bad choice.
Perfect location and great value nothing to set the world on fire though!
The hotel was very close to the centre. The staff were very nice although we didn't see them much as we didn't need their assistance for anything. The breakfast was good.
The hotel was a bit bland, no atmosphere. The decor was a bit jaded but we didn't spend much time there so did it really matter?
Dirty room,mold in bath,uncomfortable bed
Nice room, friendly personnel, good breakfast
There was a problem with the heating system which caused a terrible noice. Although no heating was needed, water continuously circulated.
Great location and very quiet. Several good bar restaurants close by.
It is an excellent hotel Close to center, comfort
There is no parking in the hotel
everything was fine and room was very comfortable ;)
Localisation is fine
I paid fort a duplex for my children, my wife and I. Arriving there, they say the duplex can not handle an additional bed. Finally I get a standard room ... For the check out, I asked in the morning to keep one hour more before leaving. The receptionist says OK. Coming back to the room, the chambermaid is aggressive and forbiddens the entrance to the room... Zero Organization.
