The politeness of the staff, the amazing location, the beautiful restaurant with a view at the Grande Place, the bread, the comfort and quietness of my room, the simple but good breakfast, the free internet

the rooms decoration looked a bit shabby and old, the TV did not have any channels on, the bathroom had no hangers

Small bumpy lift and some rooms with only a skylight for a window, so worth paying a bit more for a room with a view

Absolutely amazing views! and couldn't get any better location. everything is within walking distances.

The rooms were a little dated and smelly from smoking indoors. Also could get little loud and noisy on the weekends if you're staying on the lower floors, but the reception offers ear plugs, or you can just pick upper floors. But the view s worth of suffering:)

I thought most of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful with the exception of the man on reception. My room was tatty and needed refurbishment, plus view from window was horrible.

Absolutely loved the view from our window. It overlooks the Grand Plaza, there are no other hotels there. The breakfast was also very good.

the room i stayed in (14) needs a serious renovation, the bed, the carpeting, the walls, doors.. it looked terribly dirty. But the bathroom was perfectly clean.

Wonderful location in the heart of Brussels on the Grand Place and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

location, price and staff.

The location is fantastic, right at heart of Grand Place. It is extremely convenient, 10 mins walk from Brussels central train station and very close to a number of attractions like the beer museum, comic strip museum, Manneken Pis, Cathedral of St Michael, hotel de Ville etc. Price was very affordable for me as a single traveler on a weekend trip, just needing a place to crash.

The hotel looks great from the exterior but the interior is very much inferior. Furnishing and room itself is very old and run down.

Everything! Especially their service, location, and attached breakfast restaurant. Location is priceless and we had the best service out of 2 weeks of other hotels throughout Europe.

The location was prime! The staff was very nice.

It was old, dirty, and not soundproof. I have to say that it was the worst room I have ever stayed in and couldn't wait to leave!!!

Excellent location. In my view one cannot get a better location than this.

The location was the best. The only hotel actually in the palace square. There were so many chocolate shops and waffle shops and eating places and bars right downstairs and within a 5 minute walk! The hotel itself was small, and the room (in the back of the hotel) needed to be updated. Nothing major, just updated carpet, bedspreads and a soothing color of paint can never hurt and this definitely needs a little of that, just saying. But for the price and the location and the friendly and wonderful staff and how much time you actually spend in the room it's great!

It was great weather while we were there in May 12' but our room would need a fan due to no a/c in the room if it was during the summer time. We had a window in the ceiling that we opened( very unique that the breeze blew in) but as there was a bar nearby opened til 4 am and there was alot of celebrating going on, we would have closed the window if we had a fan. Also, Belgium being the country of the Belgium waffle and the best belgium chocolate, waffles with fruit and chocolate for breakfast would have been a plus! . They had a healthier breakfast but while on vacation, I like to indulge in the areas specialty....choices....just saying.

We go to the hotel purely for the location and the amazing view over the Grand Place. You have to accept that the Grand Place is very noisy all through the night, and I do mean all night. Once the drunken visitors have left the aircraft and then the cleaners and people setting up for the new day take over! It is just a basic hotel but with very pleasant friendly staff and well worth a visit - but probably two nights will be enough. Only stay in a room overlooking the square!

No complaints atall as we knew what to expect. It was our forth visit.

la situation centrale de l'hôtel, parfaite pour visiter la ville, la proximité de la gare centrale et le magnifique spectacle de la Grand-Place de jour et de nuit ! le bon accueil et le petit-déjeuner dans une jolie salle avec vue sur la Grand-Place, au sous-sol un excellent "estaminet".

La posizione dell'hotel è splendida, dalla nostra finestra sulla Grand' Place si aveva la visione piu' bella e romantica di Bruxelles

Localização, atenção dos funcionários, quarto simples mas confortável, limpo e funcional.

Não apresenta qualquer conforto em ambiente coletivo, exceto bar e local do café da manhã. Entretanto,para quem se encontra diretamente na Grande Praça. Melhor área de lazer de Bruxelas, é dispensável outras facilidades.

Excelente habitacion con vista a la plaza. Todo el personal muy amable y simpatico. Volvere y lo recomendare sin dudarlo!
