Great view and great location. Awesome shower with useful toiletries (shampoo, shower gel). Spacious room and large, comfy bed.
Didn't have breakfast because it seemed rather pricey.
- Location very good. Walking distance to Manneken Pls and Grand Place. - Staff very kind and helpful.
- WiFi sometimes disconnects. - Plates in restaurant not very clean.
Great check-in: super quick and friendly, very comfortable room, upscale, clean and spacious
A snack menu/ room service would be great, free fruit at reception? Otherwise, great!
Great location, 5 minutes from Grand Place! Lovely nice size rooms, tastefully decorated. Bed was especially comfortable! Nice bar area to relax in at the end of the day. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Timer lights kept going out in shower. Would have been nice to have tea making facilities in room.
We had an excellent six course meal on our final night. Easy walk from Eurostar station. Reasonable breakfast
I did not notice on my booking with Booking.com that even though my booking stated mine and my wife's name the booking only stated one person as I had booked 'with breakfast'. I was charged an extra 40€ for my wife's breakfasts. Lesson learnt check booking before confirming with Booking.com.
Hotel reception and other staff The rooms Location good
Walk to/from station (Brussels Midi/Zuid)
Cleanliness. Spacious room for the price.
No facility to make a drink in the room. Lack of decaffeinated coffee or fruit infusions. The only options were ordinary coffee and some flavoured teas.
The location in terms of the historical center.
Issues with the computer in trying to access the internet.
Very knowledgable receptionist who supplied fantastic information on local restaurants which were all within walking distance. The room was clean and very comfortable. Will recommend the hotel to other work colleagues.
Small issue with the availability of only white bread for breakfast.
My wife and I stayed for one night and we couldn't fault the hotel. Easy to walk to from the Eurostar and only a five minute walk to the Grand Square. The rooms are well kept and have really comfortable beds. The main reception and bar are decorated with quite a quirky theme which really works. As I say the room was lovely and so were the staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Brussels.
We stayed in room 101 and the only comment we would make was that the shower screen was ineffective and the bathroom got soaked by the shower.
very poor compare with same brand hotel Zwolle.
Great location Comfy rooms and bed Great service (excellent housekeeping)
Hotel very hot (you can turn the AC on high but that results in a very dry room)
WONDERFUL HOTEL, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING, RESTAURANTS, BARS, SHOPPING ..... GREAT I RECOMMEND.
THERE WAS A SMALL PROBLEM, MY BOYFRIEND WAS SMOKING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL AND THE PERSON WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR RECEPTION SAID HE WAS NOT DAYLIGHT DAYLIGHT TO GO SMOKE, I thought THAT TERRIBLE. A SUPER PERSON WAS GROSS, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THE DIRECTION OF THE HOTEL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF, THEREFORE THE HOTEL AND EXCELLENT AND SHOULD NOT BE EVIL STAFF TREATING PEOPLE.
the surrounding area
The hotel is very well located - in the centre of the town, between the Central and Midi train stations (accessible by foot), and next to the metro station. It is quiet, combortable and the staff is excellent. The breakfast is great, and should fit everybody's expectations.
If you need the ironing equipment you have to ask for it. The hotel is rather pricey, especially during workdays.
The hotel is what you would be expecting from a 4 star.
Bed is too 'soft' not to say mattress would need to be replaced.
Left a nice note welcoming us back & that we enjoy our stay, a nice boutique hotel with nice interior and bedrooms, he hotel is walkable to the main tourist areas and close to Midi train station.
Wi-Fi was good Room was very spacious We only stayed one night, so can't say a lot about the area or neighborhood.
We stayed on the 5th Floor and it was quite warm. We turned on the A/C, but it never really cooled down. Made it difficult to sleep, especially when there was only a heavy comforter and no top sheet.
no wireless (broken down) too expensive
Walking distance to centre, close to metro station, complimentary bottle of water
wifi signal may get weak depending on room
We stayed one night here, was best value option for us, but only with very early booking. Had some trouble with the registration (late checkin, also did not have breakfast included as per our booking here, but it was solved finally). Close to Midi station, short walking distance to Grand Place and Manneken Pis. Very good breakfast and nice design.
Room was clean, but needs a bit of refurbishing (dirty walls). Heating system very noisy. Also got a rom with almost no view, but it was the price that mattered in the end.
Super location. On a square mid-way between Mid-Zuid station and Grand Place (about a 10-min walk to either). Just 100m or so to a metro (tram) station. Close to many points of interest (Mont des Arts, Royal Palace, Bourse, Cathedral etc.etc.). Best bed/sleep we've ever had. We stayed twice, once in a room overlooking the rear and then overlooking the square (Place Rouppe). Quiet both times. Very good breakfast - almost anything you could want. Highly recommended.
Breakfast at 20 Euros is a bit steep. However, cafes were charging anything between 8 and 13 Euros for set menus, so if you are a large eater or want a mixture of cooked and continental fayre it's perhaps not that bad.
We booked over 2 months ago on arrival the room that was offered to us has windows close to the roof and only walls all around and literally you absolutely see nothing, when we complained they said they are willing to give better room but we will not have WIFI. So it was WIFI against a good room. Our choice was the WIFI as we need to stay connected, and .... What a WIFI it was , heh it was a joke barely you connect. No restaurant in hotel we ordered coffee the rude reception guy himself brought us the coffee. Bed sheets not changed for 2 days. This hotel has nothing to do with 4 starts other the stars hanged on the wall. Worst staff ever, It's bad guys avoid this place pleasssse.
We were in the attic BUT it was a very big and comfortable room with a huge bathroom. At breakfast, my wife gave the waiter a nod and minutes later a soft boiled egg appeared! We enjoyed a quiet coffee outside after a day of seeing the beautiful sights of Brussels.
