Wi-Fi was good Room was very spacious We only stayed one night, so can't say a lot about the area or neighborhood.
We stayed on the 5th Floor and it was quite warm. We turned on the A/C, but it never really cooled down. Made it difficult to sleep, especially when there was only a heavy comforter and no top sheet.
no wireless (broken down) too expensive
Walking distance to centre, close to metro station, complimentary bottle of water
wifi signal may get weak depending on room
We stayed one night here, was best value option for us, but only with very early booking. Had some trouble with the registration (late checkin, also did not have breakfast included as per our booking here, but it was solved finally). Close to Midi station, short walking distance to Grand Place and Manneken Pis. Very good breakfast and nice design.
Room was clean, but needs a bit of refurbishing (dirty walls). Heating system very noisy. Also got a rom with almost no view, but it was the price that mattered in the end.
Super location. On a square mid-way between Mid-Zuid station and Grand Place (about a 10-min walk to either). Just 100m or so to a metro (tram) station. Close to many points of interest (Mont des Arts, Royal Palace, Bourse, Cathedral etc.etc.). Best bed/sleep we've ever had. We stayed twice, once in a room overlooking the rear and then overlooking the square (Place Rouppe). Quiet both times. Very good breakfast - almost anything you could want. Highly recommended.
Breakfast at 20 Euros is a bit steep. However, cafes were charging anything between 8 and 13 Euros for set menus, so if you are a large eater or want a mixture of cooked and continental fayre it's perhaps not that bad.
We booked over 2 months ago on arrival the room that was offered to us has windows close to the roof and only walls all around and literally you absolutely see nothing, when we complained they said they are willing to give better room but we will not have WIFI. So it was WIFI against a good room. Our choice was the WIFI as we need to stay connected, and .... What a WIFI it was , heh it was a joke barely you connect. No restaurant in hotel we ordered coffee the rude reception guy himself brought us the coffee. Bed sheets not changed for 2 days. This hotel has nothing to do with 4 starts other the stars hanged on the wall. Worst staff ever, It's bad guys avoid this place pleasssse.
We were in the attic BUT it was a very big and comfortable room with a huge bathroom. At breakfast, my wife gave the waiter a nod and minutes later a soft boiled egg appeared! We enjoyed a quiet coffee outside after a day of seeing the beautiful sights of Brussels.
Pillows or lack of
pretty much everything... great breakfast - great location - great staff
Great customer service and great location.
Wifi was poor in my room but fine in my colleague's room so it seems hit and miss.
I liked interiors and available facilities.
Everything was just fine.
great location, great price, beautiful hotel
the room was very hot and the air con was noisy
The hotel was small but that did not detract from the quality. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
Great location, 5 minutes to main streets but away from crowds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Air conditioning in the room.
Hotel is located on a busy street (for Sorrento), so if your windows face the street you might have trouble sleeping. Towels were very thin.
Gorgeous decor throughout the hotel Super deluxe room was huge room and again beautifully decorated Location of the hotel was fairly quiet as it was a little out of the centre (approx 7 minute walk to grand place)
Requested early check in but when got there was informed 'the hotel is full you will have to wait until 3pm'. Super deluxe room overpriced - includes free minibar but this was totally mis-sold - aside from 2 cans of lager there was no alchol in mini bar, it also santa topped up during our stay and in terms of snacks one bar of chocolate and some cheesey bite things. Not worth the extra money for a super deluxe room I'm afraid. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it costs €20 each ! Too expensive in my view.
- good location at walking distance from city centre - comfortable bed - breakfast buffet is ok but not exceptional
- no ironing machine available when I called for it - bathroom was not clean - for some rooms to reach there is no other way than taking stairs which is not very practical with heavy luggage - bad wifi signal in my room
i would echo every thin stated in the example provided. The staff were most helpful from the minute we arrived. The room we had was very spacious
The air cooling was not the best and the automaticlight sensors in the toilet and shower switched the lights off if you stayed still for 5 seconds. Neither worth complaining about
I've been here before and since I liked it a lot we booked again. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the atmosphere and location are very good.
The rooms in the front with a view on the square are quite noisy. The room gets hot in the middle of the night so it would be nice if you could open the window more (it opens just a little bit, not enough to let some fresh air come in).
Excelent service, comfortable rooms right in the centre of the city.
Location, breakfast, bed very comfortable
Odour of cigarette from the ventilation in our non smoking room
Friendly helpful staff who made you feel welcome and a valued customer. Attractive decoration and furnishings which gave it a boutique feel. Breakfast had lots of choice in attractive surroundings.
The internet in bedroom was intermittent.
The location was excellent, minutes walk from the Eurostar station, Metro, Manneken Pis, Grand Place etc. The room was large and bed very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and gave directions without being asked :) Excellent value for money for such a good location.
Hard to fault anything. One very small minus was that our room was down some stairs from the 1st floor and corridor lights were motion activated, we often had to climb the stairs in the dark before the lights were activated.
Next door to Michelin star restaurant.Got last umbrella to borrow. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pleasant walk to tourist sites. 10 minute walk to gare de midi.
Although breakfast excellent first day, quality seemed to diminish by 3rd morning,
Our room was extremely spacious and well decorated - unusual for a European hotel.
