Nice quiet location, yet in the very heart of the centre. Friendly staff, romantic location. Good breakfast. The room equipment is very basic but functional. Shared toilet (this was known) and no seperate bathroom in the room (bedroom and shower/sink are in 1 area). |

Iwas looking for a good value hotel with a family room, located close to the old town. The hotel fit this exactly, with some old town character of it's own to add. Facilities were basic (understood from reviews) but the room was large and comfortable for 4. You need to be fit to climb the spiral staircase to the higher floors- or want to get fit! Got some great pictures though looking down the stairway from the top whilst taking a breather! |

It was a perfect location for us. The staff was very courteous. The requested rooms were not available because the prior guest had not returned the keys. We were given 2 other rooms, then the following night we had to switch rooms. Our time in the city was limited so this was just a bit annoying having to deal with this. |

i liked the fact that it was close to everything i wanted to see and there was a good free car park nearby staff were very helpfull because we were on the ground floor room 14 there was no opportunity to open a window for some ventilation, which made it very warm |

The location was excellent. Nice design of the rooom. Breakfast was ok. The steep stairs and the shared toilet, but that I knew of before booking. Small and somewhat outworn beds. The hotel is a bit overpriced. |

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I actually felt good entering the room after a long day walk.I was particularly happy about one of the front desk lady who was really friendly and advised me with my way around the city, day trips etc. What's more, she was really nice to talk to and I had a great breakfast time having a wonderful conversation. The other staff were courteous too. For the money paid, I would have hoped for ensuite toilet. However, the toilet was just outside the room and for all the time I wanted to use it was not occupied.However, its a basic and no frills hotel, good and nice enough for a basic traveller.. |

The hotel has been undergoing some nice renovation/ re-decoration recently. Our room was sunny and bright, nicely decorated and had a very homely feeling. Breakfast was good; the staff was nice and efficient. The location is hard to beat. Free Wi-Fi as well! Very satisfied. |

La ubicación, en pleno casco antiguo de Amberes, su decoración, ambiente y tranquilidad, muy acogedores. El desayuno como suele ser por el norte, muy variado y abundante. La primera noche la calefacción no funcionaba, tuve que avisar en recepción y al dia siguiente ya estuvo reparada. |

Ontvangst was hartelijk. Op ongeveer 150 meter afstand kun je gratis parkeren. Hotelmed. wijst je de weg. Kamer 19 voldeed aan alle comfort en zag er gezellig uit. Ontbijt was gewoon goed. Hotel lag fantastisch ten opzichte van centrum. Geen opmerkingen. |

fijn hotel, gezellig, prima ontbijt, alles goed geregeld. Locatie heel fijn, alles in het centrum is op loopafstand. Het is misschien goed om de gasten te wijzen op de relatieve gehorigheid van gang naar kamers (het is een mooi oud pand, niet zo geluidsdicht).Zodat mensen niet 's nachts op de gang gaan kletsen.Verder waren de bedden in kamer 3 een beetje doorgezakt... |
