I liked only the location and the breakfast The room was dirty and not cosy, the bed linen was burnt by a cigarette. The hotel looks much better on the pictures, but in reality it's low quality place. I had to carry my heavy luggage through all the narrow stairs up to the 4th floor. When I got back to hotel at 11 pm, I found out that the door was closed. I had 2 keys but none of them was matching. I got a panic, when some drunk men came to me. I knowed a few times, but of course nobody opened. I went to the closest restaurant, which was actually closed already. Together with a man from the restaurant we found the right door to get inside the hotel. How nice, they simply forgot to inform me that I need to enter another door, which doesn't have any sign and looks like an entrance to a different building. I was almost about to go and look for some available place to stay. I wouldn't recommend this place. I know it is not the most expenxsive place and you can't have high expectations, but I know that even in this range there are nicer, cleaner, more comfortable places to stay.

Absolutely charming individual room with great view of the lively local square and even cruise ship moored at the end of the street. Charming - marble fireplace, comfy chairs, chandelier, nothing matched. Toilet outside was not so convenient but the excellent price, charm and location easily compensated for that. Only toilet location.

Very easy to reach by car and parking was very close to the hotel. You cant beat the location - located centrally and on a lively but not too busy square. Very friendly staff. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable and the shower great. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect for this price range, although I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was. We would definitely go back! Shared toilet in the hallways. To be honest you only share with two other rooms so its not that bad.

It is cheap. Breakfast is included, simple but plenty of it. The location is good to explore old Antwerp - the cathedral and surrounding streets are an incredibly well preserved example of medieval architecture. Eating out is expensive though. Despite all this, well worth a visit. This was a was grubby hotel. I had a room at the top of seven flights of very, very narrow stairs, There was no elevator. The fire escape was a simple ladder (yes, ladder) outside a skylight (yes, a skylight)! Heaven knows how you are meant to access it, If you had children with you you would all simply fry in the event of a fire. Facilities were minimal and the bathroom smelled of drains. Worse, only the bottom quarter of the radiator worked and, as a result, it gurgled loudly all night. To get into the 'restaurant' for breakfast in the morning you had to go out onto the street (yes it was raining) and back in through the front door. Parking was possible but hideously complicated and very expensive (although there is free parking by the docks about 300m away - but I didn't like to leave my car there. It was a distinctly dodgy area!) Parking was free from 22:00 - 09:00, so I found a space near the hotel at 18:00 and had to pay 8 euros to park for the remaining 3 hours. An uncomfortable and inconvenient stay.

I only liked the location of the hotel We booked a family room which looked nice however the hygiene was very poor. It was dirty, there was dust all over, the floor next to the bed was wet. It smelled. We asked them to take care of it, which they tried but next day floor was still wet and the smell was also not gone. The could not offer us another room because they were fully booked. But they also did not gave me a reduction. I would never in my life go there again. There are so many nice hotels/bed and breakfasts in Antwerp. But this one is not part of those.

Hard to beat hotel in terms of value for money and situation. My room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast good, served in a very pleasant front room with attractive views of the street and surrounding area.

typical local building; good breakfast; nice bedding; beds fair. Room (standard) was small but typical. Bathroom small but very modern and adequate. The upgrade room which I saw was very spacious. Nice welcome and cold drinks available downstairs. Really all we needed. Didn't get offered a receipt for the payment of room or drinks (both cash) which caused me a bit of concern after the fact. Corners in rooms and common areas could use a good clean; not up to traditional Antwerp standards. Price a bit steep for the value (and hotel's stars) given the distant location from the station, although the location was great in other ways.

The location is very central. The rooms are simple but cutely decorated and the breakfast had delicious pastries. The beds were comfortable! You feel like you are not staying at a hotel but at someone's house.

The hotel was more than I expected for the price I paid. The staff were very helpful in assisting me in finding metro stations and places of interest and check-in took about 30 seconds. The room was large with very high ceilings and large windows that open out to a view of the river and cathedrals. You get free internet (limited to 150 mb a day) and a good breakfast. The old part of the town where all the attractions are was only a five minute walk away and all the retail shops were just down the street.
