Very poor WIFI, broken shower and almost nothing in the minibar
The room was clean and comfortable! Very quiet ! WiFi worked very well.
Hotelfacilities, location, great parks, wonderful pubs and restaurants close by, easy to travel into centre, we enjoyed walking the city and easy to catch metro back to schuman stop we loved it, fabulous to park underneath, safe and secure
Many (italian) restaurants nearby
Equipment below expectations, bathroom was not totally set, missing papers, etc Required single bed not delivered and no excuses or explanations... Breakfast was cold and overcooked...
Price of sauna fair and position close to subway.
If you really need to surf the web you have to pay. Parking was expensive. Bathtab couldn't keep water inside so tight.
location room was nice
wireless was far too slow charges for wireless shower didn't work well and made a terrible noise hotel has a very funny layout 10 Euros to use the gym
I've stayed at the Silken for regular business trips to Brussels for many years. But it is pricey, the food is average and the rooms are looking tired so I'll be staying at the Sofitel from now on.
I need to upload and download large files while travelling on business but the Silken's (expensive) is frankly unusable. For me that's a deal breaker - I have been a loyal customer but I can't work there (even if I pay 30 Euros for "fast" internet) so sadly I'll be staying elsewhere.
The location of the hotel is perfect for the Institions. Staff were nice.
The room was dark and dull. This hotel is so expensive I had expected a much nicer room. My room key stopped working twice during my stay so I had to trek back to reception.
Great location for those who travel to EU institutions. City center nearby if you go there by metro. Very big and comfortable bed.
Very bad and slow wifi connection. Terrible toilet water flushing system. Worn furniture. Too expensive for the service you get.
The hotel was very clean and breakfast very good. The location is good.
The mattress was hard.
Very poor Wifi, room needs refurbishing, clearly overprice
The location was fantastic
Hot buffet breakfast was cold, both resturant & hotel managers not interested. Obviously food safety rules don't apply in Brussels!
Great breakfast, nice wellness :)
Modern room, friendly staff.
Furniture in the room is old, you can see that easily. I had problems with the heating system and with the TV. The TV I eventually fixed myself, the heating was fixed by someone from the hotel.
for the price it was great!! (around 60eur per night) a 4 star hotel and you got everything u need :) Perfect in every sence! Just the only complain I could have, maybe it's a bit far from the center (30mins walk)
still ok hotel, fairly priced and conveniently located just off Schumann
breakfast was a disaster, cold eggs for example on the buffet rooms are getting a bit tired, need refreshingirly pricesd
its a shame that the spa was shut on moday the whole day and the fact that there was no swimming pool can als be seen as misleading.
fabulous offer for off season travelling, thank you
Location very convenient for EC offices. Lots of good restaurants close by.
Bit of a maze to get to the room. Had to walk through a conference area.
1st room: minibar broken new room: signalled minibar full of half-empty cans at 14h30. Not remedied by 18h. Key took 25 attempts to open door and master key no better. No gesture of any sort at check-out
1. i booked for a comfort queen bed but you gave me 2 single duvets. i don't think it was proper. 2. no breakfast room service later than giving the order at 2:00 a.m. the day before.
The hotel met with decent standards, the breakfast was good, and the room was quiet. If you are doing business in EU buildings, the location is good.
The bed could have been better, the shower was tight and uncomfortable. The biggest minus however is that the free internet was extremely slow, and any decent internet speed implies a cost that is beyond reasonable.
The brakfast was absolutelly excellent
The lights round the mirror in bathrum was not working. It was pour litght for makeup
CLEAN AND NICE FOOD
