Decorated in an English country style, this 5-star boutique hotel has a 24-hour gym with sauna and tanning beds. The European parliament can be reached in a 10-minute walk. The rooms have air conditioning and offer a bathrobe with slippers. The continental breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant or on the courtyard patio with its 100-year old Magnolia tree. The Brighton Restaurant has been Michelin rated and is decorated with Chinese frescos. Guests can relax in the Library Bar with a drink. A public computer with internet connection is available in the lobby free of charge. The Stanhope is located 800 ft from the Trone metro station. I am a regular visitor at the Stanhope. It retains the feeling of a privately owned hotel, with most rooms being quite different from any other and decorated in a sypathetic style. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is good! Above all it is supremely comfortable!

Good location, good staffing, very convenient. Consistency in what you receive. Third time there and every time has been very good experience. Nothing to really dislike about the Stanhope. It's a solid property.

We liked the location The noise at 5.30 and or 6.30am was terrible - glass was being taken away by a huge truck. The room was very noisy. The breakfast was very good albeit the service was a catastroph. They were not taking away the plates consumed overall - very mixed impression - where we expected 5 stars

The breakfast is really nice and sweet. The room are nicely decorated. Location is okay and close to the Eurocrats buildings and the public transport. Prices are not high in the hotel. The single room was really to short. The television didn't work. The pillows were to high. The blankets were synthetique. Service in the restaurant is really slow. And the bar is not cosy at all.

I was allocated a room with a shower but no bath, without being asked for my preference. This is unacceptable. I was moved after I complained.

The Leffe beer was not good , smelled like a rough cider. V.small room ,could not find the bed to start with, but the sofa turned out to be it. V.noisy boiler room below my room. One bowl of cereal cost 25€

An old building beautifully updated with good decor and facilities. Excellent service from a well trained and kindly staff. Well located for the European Parliament area. I shall stay there again. Continental breakfast was expensive. I had a coffee and croissant around the corner.

There was noise in the room. I think when other guests use shower or water, somehow the noise comes. It was kind of big noise and I could hear even midnight. I was just disapointed only the noise...

Beautiful hotel, nice and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable and the facilities were great. A bit expensive for buying breakfast when not included and the mini bar is very expensive but it is a lovely place to stay and I would return.

Staff were welcoming and very helpful and were aware that I was a returning customer which enahnced the welcome. My stays are always very short but I find the hotel offers a highly appropriate level of comfort and quietness so one can relax before and after business meetings.

The style of the Hotel is classic without being "heavy" of fake. Is a nice experience to spend a weekend there. The staff is pleasant and helpful, always ready to make sure you enjoy your stay and leave satisfied. I would recommend this hotel to someone passing from Brussels
