Good location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation.
This hotel has a serious customer service problem. I paid for 3 nights for 2 rooms the but final day was disrupted by a general strike in Belgium which meant there was no train service back to UK. Through 'Booking.com' I asked in advance if the hotel would change the booking by one day (either bring forward a day or retard by a day) - the hotel refused, even though they had accommodation. We, therefore, had to return a day early and pay a cancellation fee for the final (unused) night. Given that the Thon Group is a Belgian company this was poor service indeed. I will not be staying at a Thon hotel again if I can possibly avoid doing so.
Standard hotel, a bit far from the main tourist area
Having a 5* rating no complimentary water, no tea making facilities. Water was clogging in the Shower .
staff was very polite and helpful. room was spacious. nice amenities like a robe and slippers. couch. close to a metro stop
far from historical district. when you turned the lights out it deactivated a lot of the plugs so you couldnt charge a phone/ipad. no plugs near the bed. corridor was super small. couldnt roll a bag down it. paid wifi is terrible.
Location Hotel facilities
Staff was very poor in english. Were not diligent with some information I ordered.
I stayed for Saturday and Sunday night 6/7 December. The quality / price relationship of my stay was exceptional and the staff extremely friendly and helpful ( in particular Roger at the bar)
Narrow beds (75 cm). Do not like to pay for wi-fi. Should be free.
The staff was excellent and we were extremely well looked after. The bedroom was fine however...
it was warm so we opened the windows overlooking the street below. At 5am, delivery lorries stopped and unloaded directly beneath followed by a refuse truck. Moral of the story, don't open the windows.
Good location between EU quarters and city centre, nice non-corporate decor, helpful staff
The breakfast bufet could have been more interesting
Nice, clean, comfortable room. Quiet.
The pillow was bad, too hard and high. The room was very small. Luckily I had hand luggage only.
I liked the idea pf styling the room, though some furniture was a mismatch. Warm, clean. Lovely breakfast.
Not a very quick service, long waits at the reception, though it was not busy
Location and helpfulness of staff. Excellent breakfast.
A bit pricy
We loved the hotel, the service was excellent, the staff knowledgeable and very helpful. Breakfast was great, too - a really nice selection and served in a lovely room. We had a drink in the bar (free voucher due to the booking through Booking.com) and enjoyed the atmosphere there whilst people watching. The hotel location was perfect, very close to Trone Metro station but also in easy walking distance of many of the sights. Overall we couldn't recommend the hotel enough - if we ever go to Brussels again, this would be our first point of call for booking accommodation!
No complaints at all!
A lot of things
Large bathroom, comfortable lounge area, pleasant room decor. Free tea and coffee facilities available in room on request.
Breakfast was poor value for money. There was only about 30 cm between the end of the bed and the window. Would have benefitted from a larger writing desk.
My room was very cold
Free wifi in rate
Cost of greakfast
Great place, great offer, very good service.
Good bathroom, except for poor shaving light. Good dinner.
Booking included free wifi
Room at front of hotel as I am a light sleeper
The look of the communal rooms and the bedrooms was outstanding. The room service was prompt and charming. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and the privacy was perfect.
The welcome was lukewarm and there never seemed to be enough staff on duty at the desk to deal with guests arriving or leaving. The toiletries in the bathroom need to be upgraded if the hotel has aspirations to match its look. The location, while quite central, has very few shops or restaurants close by.
staff kindness and room's decoration A quiet and comfortable place to settle in
we agree and booked a twin bedded suit - they did not have one free so they said they would give us a business room but no refund - i would have thought they could of given us a little something - we had to ask about tea making facilities - which they gave us but were very mean with tea bags - i have stayed there many times and they still gave me the bill of another gentleman - this should have been checked on arrival but was not - i doubt if i would return or recommend the hotel again - sadly bad news spreads quicker than good
Reception, cleaning and bar staff
The price of breakfast was far too high as you get similar for a fraction, drinks were expensive. Why is there a city tax?
The building, the room, too expensive for what it offers. Breakfast 28 eur, no wifi free, 1 hour internet 4 euro!!!
