Good location between EU quarters and city centre, nice non-corporate decor, helpful staff
The breakfast bufet could have been more interesting
Nice, clean, comfortable room. Quiet.
The pillow was bad, too hard and high. The room was very small. Luckily I had hand luggage only.
I liked the idea pf styling the room, though some furniture was a mismatch. Warm, clean. Lovely breakfast.
Not a very quick service, long waits at the reception, though it was not busy
Location and helpfulness of staff. Excellent breakfast.
A bit pricy
We loved the hotel, the service was excellent, the staff knowledgeable and very helpful. Breakfast was great, too - a really nice selection and served in a lovely room. We had a drink in the bar (free voucher due to the booking through Booking.com) and enjoyed the atmosphere there whilst people watching. The hotel location was perfect, very close to Trone Metro station but also in easy walking distance of many of the sights. Overall we couldn't recommend the hotel enough - if we ever go to Brussels again, this would be our first point of call for booking accommodation!
No complaints at all!
A lot of things
Large bathroom, comfortable lounge area, pleasant room decor. Free tea and coffee facilities available in room on request.
Breakfast was poor value for money. There was only about 30 cm between the end of the bed and the window. Would have benefitted from a larger writing desk.
My room was very cold
Free wifi in rate
Cost of greakfast
Great place, great offer, very good service.
Good bathroom, except for poor shaving light. Good dinner.
Booking included free wifi
Room at front of hotel as I am a light sleeper
The look of the communal rooms and the bedrooms was outstanding. The room service was prompt and charming. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and the privacy was perfect.
The welcome was lukewarm and there never seemed to be enough staff on duty at the desk to deal with guests arriving or leaving. The toiletries in the bathroom need to be upgraded if the hotel has aspirations to match its look. The location, while quite central, has very few shops or restaurants close by.
staff kindness and room's decoration A quiet and comfortable place to settle in
we agree and booked a twin bedded suit - they did not have one free so they said they would give us a business room but no refund - i would have thought they could of given us a little something - we had to ask about tea making facilities - which they gave us but were very mean with tea bags - i have stayed there many times and they still gave me the bill of another gentleman - this should have been checked on arrival but was not - i doubt if i would return or recommend the hotel again - sadly bad news spreads quicker than good
Reception, cleaning and bar staff
The price of breakfast was far too high as you get similar for a fraction, drinks were expensive. Why is there a city tax?
The building, the room, too expensive for what it offers. Breakfast 28 eur, no wifi free, 1 hour internet 4 euro!!!
Convenience of location
-Very expensive in relation to the quality of room and cleaning you find. This is not 5 star hotel. Gym area is just for the name with 2-3 machines, so imagine having to wait on line to use a machine when you are on business trip in Brussels. -Misleading information for taxi cost to airport....actually there was a clear cheating by the taxi driver they linked me to ...appears to be a collaboration between the doorman and the taxi driver as it appears they called each other....15 Min to airport at 59 euro when the hotel assured 40-45 euro. I have the receipt. Called the hotel receptionist who called the driver and has lied once more claiming that he charged 50 euro when I have in my hands a receipt for 59 euros. The taxi overcharge situation happened at 8.30 A.M. on 11 September 2014 with reservation for room 501. On arrival the taxi cost from airport to hotel was 35 euro.
Almost everything. Concept of the hotel. They make different decoration to our two rooms.
They limit internet access to one hour. I think it will be annoying if I stay for my business.
Excellent location, first class facilities. Internet access should be inluded in the room rate. The staff is effecient and polite but they don't smile enough.
To be honest, the quality of sleep was excellent on this hotel, and I don't understand the reason?! It is not the bed for sure, but sleeping was very pleasant, which was contradictory to receptionist non welcoming.
1. I booked this hotel as advertised 5 star hotel, for a group of 6 people, and I seems that they have a management issue, The receptionist at arrival was a lire regarding an early checking request I asked for, which she totally denied it and we have to wait 5 hours, but on time of checkout, I was asked to pay for the early check in, which was 70 euro, which means that the request was on the system all the time, but they lie about it. 2. The hotel has different sections, old and new, and rooms of different shapes, some of which you have to climb stairs of 10 steps to reach it, all of which not demonstrated on their website, which is not fair at all, for me, I fight to give me the new room, but my other colleagues were unhappy and got old and smelly rooms, and all angry from me because I choose this hotel. I always suggest more explorations of room details and explanation if the hotel is old or have old and new sections. 3. The hotel does not deserve more than 3 stars if you are generous.
Excellent location in the EU area. Quiet street, ideal for a restful good night sleep.
I cannot think of anything
Good size rooms Beautiful patio dining
Location was fair
the slippers, the large TV, staff is friendly
the fact that I had to pay for internet after one hour
We cannot but be happy about our stay in this wonderful place : nice and peaceful garden where we could have our breakfast; clean and comfortable room and very well situated (at a walking distance of the old city....).
