EUR72,- just to iron 3 shirts... No cleaning in the room during the day -lack of hygiene.
Slow free wifi
when I left!
I've book and then cancel long in advance a limousine taxi from to the airport because it was too expensive 460,00€ Arriving at 23,00 I also order some fruit in the room. At my arrival they pretended to be payd one transfer 230,00€ because of too late cancellation, found no fruit in the room and the the room was very durty!!!
The carpet was very poor and the towels as well. Moreover, the hot water (heater) in the bathroom was come out with sand which means that not used for along time.
atmosphere in the Loui Bar
congestion at the reception's desk congestion at the breakfast room
Great breakfast buffet
Checkout was slow, on Sunday morning
ANY REQUEST WAS TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND DELT WITH PROMPTLY.. WHICH IS UNSUAL IN SUCH LARGE GROUP OF HOTELS...
Poor Breakfast; limited range of food; too basic for a price of 30 Euro. Overall room price too expensive for standard comfort. Not a 5-star worthy hotel !
Magnificient hotel (building/structure/decoration), well placed.
Key cards stopped working 4 times over 2 days. Long wait at reception each time. Cheap amenities in the bathroom - better at an Ibis...bellboy abondoned our suitcase when he saw a bigger car arrive behind ours...the whole theme is a little "cheaper" than when it was the Conrad.
their door keys keep not working.poor quality obviously / .one has to have them updated at the reception each time.very poor. i had to extend my stay by one night due to the stike.i would have expected that they will charge me prorata.instead they charged me 50% more.obviously they dont want me to go again and i will respect their wish.
I used to overnight in Brussels in the fomer Hotel Conrad, it is one of the best in Brussels.
The pay tv is lacking, and in the Conrad time they were more ready to bring my luggage to my room.
the location and room
poor cleanliness of the the carpet in some rooms.
Overall nice hotel and localisation
Staff rather unfriendly
Comfort , bedroom
The staff ! In the reception , polite but little helpful, say themselves not concerned in case of complaint (to whom do we have to make them?). The worst being the bar of the hotel! We are very dissatisfied, staff (manager?) extended beyond and who behaves in a very impolite even aggressive way!!! We have of to go to another establishment to restore us further to the refusal to get a drink on the pretext of closure while whom we were at almost three quarters of an hour before the indicated schedule!
Nice Decor,Comfortable beds,Beautiful bathroom,Super in room breakfast
Watching TV from the bed means you have to watch TV sideways. Wall Paper on bathroom ceiling starting to peel off. Bath tub not fully scrubbed when cleaned
Great location for high end shopping. Staff were helpful with bags, car and dinning.
A little pricey.
This supposedly five star hotel didn't have any hot water in the morning. When I called the reception, they weren't surprised and instead said I should simply let water run longer. I did that but nothing. The flow stopped to a lukewarm trickle. No shower for us that day. When asked if the reception could call a taxi, they said taxis would be waiting outside but none were and so we had to walk back and forth a fee times asking for a cab! Wow! I think a hostel would provide a better service.
the horrid intense perfume that permeated the public space kind of made you nauseous. it's almost as if they try to cover up some bad smell.
The excellent staff and very good service The food in the bar, it was fresh, well cooked and high quality. Marble bathroom. Relatively cheap 24 hr internet access via ethernet.
Pizza stains on curtains! No hot water in bathroom! No main restaurant and limited range of food in bar Wifi didn't work for me, i had to pay for internet access, although this was only €10 for 24 hours Confused decor, slightly shabby I had no choice about where to stay on this trip but would not return to this hotel, it is not my style at all.
Very comfortable on all nights bar one
On the Saturday evening you had a function one and the music was still keeping us awake at 1:00am. When we telephoned to complained we was offered a quieter room which infers you had a quieter room available which you should have put us in from the start instead of expecting us to move at 1:00am! Also, when I complained to the duty manager I was told I had sensitive hearing!!!
position of hotel quiet
having to ask for coffee three times every morning whilst other guests seem to have beverages delivered seemlessly
They have the most comfortable bed ever and I've asked the manager if I can buy the bed but he said no lol.
15-20 min walk from the center.
all the services
The hotel was stunning very grand, staff were all friendly to.
The extra charge for use of the pool facilities & extra charge for brekfast. No water provided in the rooms. The mini bar was way over priced a bottle of water at 13euros being one of the most expensive items in the fridge. This is taking advantage of a nesacity.
