This supposedly five star hotel didn't have any hot water in the morning. When I called the reception, they weren't surprised and instead said I should simply let water run longer. I did that but nothing. The flow stopped to a lukewarm trickle. No shower for us that day. When asked if the reception could call a taxi, they said taxis would be waiting outside but none were and so we had to walk back and forth a fee times asking for a cab! Wow! I think a hostel would provide a better service.
the horrid intense perfume that permeated the public space kind of made you nauseous. it's almost as if they try to cover up some bad smell.
The excellent staff and very good service The food in the bar, it was fresh, well cooked and high quality. Marble bathroom. Relatively cheap 24 hr internet access via ethernet.
Pizza stains on curtains! No hot water in bathroom! No main restaurant and limited range of food in bar Wifi didn't work for me, i had to pay for internet access, although this was only €10 for 24 hours Confused decor, slightly shabby I had no choice about where to stay on this trip but would not return to this hotel, it is not my style at all.
Very comfortable on all nights bar one
On the Saturday evening you had a function one and the music was still keeping us awake at 1:00am. When we telephoned to complained we was offered a quieter room which infers you had a quieter room available which you should have put us in from the start instead of expecting us to move at 1:00am! Also, when I complained to the duty manager I was told I had sensitive hearing!!!
position of hotel quiet
having to ask for coffee three times every morning whilst other guests seem to have beverages delivered seemlessly
They have the most comfortable bed ever and I've asked the manager if I can buy the bed but he said no lol.
15-20 min walk from the center.
all the services
The hotel was stunning very grand, staff were all friendly to.
The extra charge for use of the pool facilities & extra charge for brekfast. No water provided in the rooms. The mini bar was way over priced a bottle of water at 13euros being one of the most expensive items in the fridge. This is taking advantage of a nesacity.
Hotel itself is beautiful, lobby etc. Rooms good size and well furnishered.
The fact that there was no hot water in the sink, shower and bath. On two seperate occasions I went to reception to complain and was assured that the problem would be fixed. The first maintance man to arrive tried the water found it to be cold and said that he would fiix it. Did not, unacceptable and disgraceful. Poor service in the dining room and cold food in the breakfast buffet.
Nice, large and pleasant rooms. Quite peaceful even though on a busy street. Great location.
Too much rotation in front desk who still occasionally ( like my past visit) seem to have no idea that I am a very frequent guest. ( three times in past two weeks. However, always very friendly.
Break fast and nice staff
Everything was great
Services and the staff were so bad and I told them that.. Thanks
nice lobby good lication
lack of staff
The room was not ready when I arrived at 4pm, when the check-in time was 3 pm. It was suggested by the staff person that I could just go and get a coffee at my own expense and get back later. I don't think that's acceptable!! Used plates were placed in the corridor for several hours, which I don't think is acceptable neither for this kind of hotel.
It's tooks long time to have a warm shower. Misleading for the car parking, it's mentioned 14.90 euro per day, this if you leave your car in parking for the whole day which is not case. There is not heater in the room. Renovation is going in hotel and is not mentioned in when I made the reservation
Spacious hotel Clean Good value for money
Internet was a bit slow During busy times at breakfast, not being attended to quickly enough
The size of the room .. Staff were nice .. The room was super comfy
paint odour in the room, breakfast was not included into the room rate.
Everything was great in the hotel
Location and staff
More choice for breakfast, they were very slow with the orders at the restaurant and with the room service.
The hotel is perfectly situated, and the architecture in the main floor is majestic. Breakfast was good. Sauna and pool in the wellness center were really nice.
Let's start with the worse: the room. It was dirty on arrival: floor, stained cushions on bed... We had to complain to get it cleaned. This was done without qualms. However, on second look, the curtains were also stained and dirty. Is this a 5-star?? Furniture in the room was tasteful, but very, very used. Once you leave the main floor, the room floors are bland. The buffet breakfast was a bit scarce for a 5-star. The wellness center is not part of the hotel, and its access will cost you an extra 30€ per person. The women's showers in the changing room is really dingy and not welcoming!
Nice big rooms
Quality of concierges varied. Some were not that helpful or polite Front desk understaffed for check-out (more staff at front desktop when checking in at 23h than when checking out at 11)
