Modern, comfortable hotel with convenient location for walking to the heart of town. Friendly staff and enclosed parking make this place a winner. Some street noise if you stay in a front room but not too bad. |

Specially the peace and the quality and cleanliness of my room The internet system was horrible. No conexion in the rooms. You have to get connection in the breakfast saloon. The provide you a internet card which lasted for 2 hours and these card were sold out quickly. |

Ideal location for the town. Comfort and cleanliness. Good parking. Breakfast was overpriced. Disappointed our room was in the annexe although it was comfortable. |

The room was good, clean and spacious, bed was very good. Staff at reception very helpful and friendly. Private carpark. I had my breakfast at 8:30, by then I was the only guest and had to ask in order to be served, coffee wasn't fresh but this might have to do with my relative late time of breakfast. |

The design of the room was nice, and the beds were very comfortable; good pillows. Easy 15 min walk to the Grand Place, free parking, good breakfast & coffee. I couldn't pick up the WiFi connection but, that may have been my computer. |

We arrived very early but they found a very nice room for us straight away. Parking was behind secure gates and was free. The room was very nicely furnished - minimalist style. 5 - 10 mins walk from the town. We only stayed one night but it seemed there would have been plenty to occupy us in Mons if we'd stayed for 2 full days. Very good Tourist Info. Centre. No air-con. We were on the ground floor with french doors so we didn't like to leave them open during the night. Guess it could get quite hot in the summer. |

The 2nd room I switched to was good-sized and the bed was soft I would not stay here again for multiple reasons. I was in Brussels for for 3 days to work but checked out next day. The hotel was hard to find even with a GPS. No place to park to get into the hotel to register. Parking was behind the hotel (another search). First room was in a separate building, very small and no internet access. I had made it clear on check-in I needed internet. |

Very comfortable. Free wifi connection to internet! The hotel staff struggled to help me in using wireless access to internet. Nice breakfast. In spite of its location, very close to the centre of Mons, Hotel St James is a peaceful hotel. Internet wireless signal doesn’t reach all the rooms, so you may need to specify your requirement when booking. |
