The self catering facilities are not there to be this you at least need the basic tools, ho say a cup, a knife, fork ho & a spoon!, a kettle, pot or pan, nothing! Fully equipped kitchen, not even close, then to top it all one of the beds creaked all night we cried with laughter, and kept laughing for the rest of our stay, but we managed there is a great Irish pub just opposite which has a warm welcome. We drank iced tea & got hot drinks out was great but would have been nice to curl up in the room with coffee, ho but the fridge worked!!!
The area & town are great, people are friendly, perfect small Friday market in the square and great location/base to explore the area, a visit to Ypres is a must to see the 'in Flanders fields museum' & the daily evening tribute to the fallen at the Meni Gate. The room was dated but clean, bathroom & shower good. We paid for car parking which was safe as locked behind large gate.
