Relatively cheap and simple hotel in a great location. Rooms basic but tidy, staff helpful.

Rooms and toilets are pretty small so wouldn't recommend them for families. Breakfast also a bit plain.

The location is ok - just around the corner from the hotel (station Pont Namur). The room was clean, but rather small. The breakfast is suficiant and the lady who works in the kitchen is helpfull, but the breakfast area was small. Vending machines available in the reception area. Free wi-fi. Great room price for Brussels!

I didn't mind, cause I stayed here just for one night, to sleep over, but the room is really small, the hotel coridors are narrow, the lift is tiny. And it is an old building, so even do they did some renovation (decorations mostly), the doors are old, and the walls tin, so if you are a light sleeper - find another hotel - it can get rather noisy (it didn't bother me)

it was very clean. the breakfast, not included, were good price and excelent. it was located very near the stores for shopping. it was an ensuite room, but the toilet was very small

I liked the location of the Hotel. It is 5 minutes walking to the metro station ( Porte de Namur ) and 25 minutes walking to the central train station and to the grand place. Also in the middle of the shopping area.

The rooms are extremely small. No air conditioning in the rooms. The walls are not sound proof.

very ungly building from the inside the worst ever elevator the rooms were so small the door was not closing properly the toilets were so small that a 80kg man could not go inside there was a small tv which was not having any signal and it was so small and so high put in the wall that it was impossible to see anything the breakfast was for 5euros in a room that look like a small cantine of a village hospital i saw some people eating there and felt sorry that did not think of going just in the corner of the street where is the coolest cafe/restaurant where they could have a proper breakfast with more or less 5euros IN A DECENT enviroment i only stayed there to sleep since my job meeting was in the area. by the time i was awaken i tried to get out of there as soon as possible!

Everything possible Reception people didn't know English Rooms were terrible and Wifi didnt work at all Location was not good and scary There was construction going on and the entrance was not good The hotel was like a rundown garage. Avoid at all costs.

Staff is friendly. Low price (relatively). Quiet.

The description did not correspond to the better truth - this was probably the smallest room I have been in with the bed taking 80% of the room - almost impossible to squeeze between the bed and the wall

Wifi was stable.

1) The staff does not even speak English, the personell I met even did not understood the time I wanted to get a wake up call and [room] numbers. 2) I've been asked in advance by email about my credit card # (even though hotel got it via booking.com), and I've been asked to pay on arrival without getting the receipt after the payment (had to ask several times to get the payment receipt). 3) The walls are really thin (one hears what neighbours do).

Location and cleanliness

Emailed them for directions and they never replied. Suggested to the manager to put some directions online, and he disregarded me. It is difficult to find!!

Close to public transportation and in a busy district in Brussels. You can easily reach the city center and get in 5 minutes to cosy restaurants in St. Boniface area. Facilities nearby the hotel in Chaussée d'Ixelles. Internet wifi in the hotel worked well. Budget hotel only recommended for a short stay and his location.

Room was incredibly small and I could hardly move around. Cleanliness was not very accurate and bedding of very basic quality. The hotel name "SUN" is really a misleading advertising given that the hotel is located in a backside street, quite dark and with lots of work in progress.

Helpful and friendly personnel. The location - close to good restaurants, the metro (Naamse Poort), and 15 minutes walk from the European Commission Quarter.

Basic hotel in central Brussels for a good price.

Faint smell of petrol in the lobby. Not obvious how to get onto wifi network. Street outside is very broken up, making it look a much more run-down area than it is - but that is not the hotel's fault and was not a problem!

It was nice to have my room early e.g. 10 am for a second time, which is very convenient.
