The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is central to the market square, parking available, unfortunately we didn't eat at the hotel but it was always very busy, good indication it serves very good food, I would recommend this hotel.
Nothing. We had a shared bathroom, next time I will book our own bathroom.
helpful friendly staff - couldn't do enough for us - child friendly
the only thing was we didnt make a reservation for the evening meal - would of been nice to ask us when we arrived did we want to eat in the restaurant - luckily they fitted us in otherwise we would of had to walk back into Brugge with 2 tired children
cosy room, warm and comfortable
no hot water for bath
Good service. They left me breakfast at the door when I said I will leave early before their breakfast service. Wifi is fast and the room is clean/ tidy. Very close to the train station. A wash sink in the room next to the bed.
The location is further from the town so will be a bit problematic if you plan to go back and forth. The toilet is not in the room so less privacy as it is shared. It is also quite basic so not a luxury if that is a concern.
Staff were polite
Didn't like that I had to climb up 2 storey's even though I am on crutches. And I didn't like that, as a paying guest, we were refused a meal because they had a private function on for non-guests
Staff were excellent and the hotel has loads of character.
Shared shower and toilet
The hotel was very easy to find and also well located. We slept very well, the mattress was extra comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The place has got an interesting charm and the owner is super helpful and very nice.
The Owner and staff provide excellent Customer Care. In fact everything was 'no problem'. Unfortunately my wife was unwell but the owner and staff were more than helpful. Not just to us but I observed that to everyone who visited. The Restaurant is very popular and the food excellent.
Considerate giving maps and directions during check in. Cosy room and given a big bottle of drinking water. Informed that need early breakfast and served in front of the door for early breakfast
Electricty plug near bed not working
Good location and comfortable beds.
Very noisy as you sleep on top of the restaurant. Until very late we could hear all the noises from the kitchen. Double bed with bathroom. WC toilet wasn't flushed, so had they cleaned it?... Walls were dirty in bathroom as well as the shower door. Not worth for what they charge.
Very accommodating... We had to leave early the next morning, so early we were going to have to miss breakfast... so the pacard sandwiches coffee and orange juice and left it outside our door so we would have something to eat :) how sweet and thoughtful? Beautiful neat hotel... right next to train station so you don't need to take your luggage far...
Everything. Hosts are excellent and very, very kind.
The bathroom for the family room is shared. However when we stayed there was nobody in the other family room and it was great.
Because we stayed outside of town our food was less like the town tourist food. The restaurant on the corner was excellent. Very close to train station.
A little noisy a night.
This is a very pleasant and slightly quaint small hotel. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. There seems to be an issue with drains and plumbing which is hard to avoid! Hotel bedrooms would benefit from some modernisation but we would happily stay here again. Also, good off road parking fine for motorbikes.
See previous re smell!
The hotel was near the centre of Brugge, and local transport. The lady that served the breakfast was charming and helpful
Guests that gave little thought to others, like moving furniture around during the night or making a lot of noise.
great breakfast, wifi works perfectly, very cute lady-owner, nice rooms, great location, all in all very pleased with this hotel.
shame about a shared bathroom and no way to check-in out of the specified hours, everything is simply closed.
Location was 10 minutes walking from the center of town.
E100 was way too much for this tiny room with no wardrobe, or mirror, and we had to share the bathroom! The breakfast was nothing special. You rated it as 2 *'s but the tourist bureau in Bruges rated it 1* at the bottom of the list of hotels!!!!!!
Location Friendly staff Good size family room
Lovely old and very quaint hotel with fabulous food and the staff very extremely friendly. Not to far to walk to the centre. Would go there again.
Not sure about not having a door on the bathroom, maybe could put a sliding door across, ok if you are quite cosy with your partner, some people like their privacy.
The food was great and the location was fabulous. The staff was friendly.
We weren't crazy about sharing a bathroom but it worked out well. Unfortunately our timing had us stay on a Monday when the kitchen was closed.
It is ideally located between the train station, less than 10 mins walk & the town centre, 15 mins walk, where the crowd gathers. We enjoyed the breakfast served and wished we could have our other meals at their restaurant which was closed.
No lift to the room & toilet/bathroom are shared. Quad room is rather cramp for 4 adults. No CNN or BBC news & interesting channels. available during our stay. Access thru the back, passing the toilets, is rather unsightly. Dimmed stairways. Need to grope around to switch on the lights which automatically switched off after a short while.
Where to begin? The staff and owners are so friendly, interesting and accommodating; the location is fantastic, so close to the train station but only a 10 minute walk to the Grand Place; the room was brilliantly quaint and clean; the facilities were pretty good, especially the wifi. In short, I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel - and the restaurant!
Good spot within reasonable walk of the centre with car park. Very friendly staff, could not fault them.
Top floor room a tricky climb and HOT. I didn't mind the shared shower and toilet. Sink in the room but no plug. Otherwise fine, did I mention how HOT the top floor room was. Well it was HOT!!!
really good restaurant also
