location and breakfast
no tea or coffee making facility in room
Location, quiet, air-con, breakfast
The reception staff member could have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly
Fantastic Position, very close to main attractions, in the beutiful square, Modern forniture hotel, very clean
nothing, except for wifi with low coverage in the room
The T'Zand is in a great position for a cheap and fantastic car park that is easy to access, combined with a great position right on the edge of the Medieval town with quick easy walking access to all the sites. Although a no frills hotel the beds were very comfy and it was spotlessly clean.
We had a problem with the air con when we arrived on a Sunday, which the staff, although eager to help did not know how to fix...it was fixed on the Monday when the main staff came back. Also the buffet breakfast was mediocre but acceptable.
Accommodating staff Old European character Location near main attractions
Phone not in operation Temperature control quite challenging to operate successfully Light fixture loose or unstable a 2-star hotel charging rate of a 4-star hotel
location close to the station
bad smell inside maybe for the old carpet...
Being near to the town centre was great, we parked the car and forgot it for the rest of the stay. The hotel was right next to the busy centre and was a pleasure to walk everywhere.
Rooms were a little compact but ok for a short stay
Convenient location in historic Bruges. Has a hair blow dryer.
No kettle, very poor WiFi signal in the room.
Ideally situated overlooking small market square, Bus stand near by and walking distance from Rail Station ( 1Km ) yet only 5 minutes walk to the Hub of Bruges "The Square with Belfry " and the Burg
No Tea Coffee making facilities Because the staff seemed to run Reception and Restaurant they were very busy so don't expect to stand passing the time of day with them
Stuck in traffic south of Paris and arrived close to 11pm to find the staff had waited for me, I expected a locked door! Unfortunately my stay was only a few hours but I will return to better take in this beautiful city and my choice of hotel is already made.
reception welcoming. Food good and reasonably priced. In walking distance to shops bars and restaurents and parking could not have been closer
The heat in the bathroom and separate toilet was unbelievable. Also we couldn't get the air con to work but we were only there for one night so we put up with it.
brugge and the hotel location, it was generally clean and tidy, if they spent a few pounds on maintanance and repairs to rooms , the hotel would be very good
room noise transfer
Excellent location, friendly helpful staff and close to train station and parking.
Hotel was easy to reach by car and close to all sights. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Room to the front was fairly noisy.
On the down side, my room was terribly small and totally devoid of any decorations. Those staff who either were able to speak French or English , rare to find, we're rude, unwelcoming and arrogant. Service would rank at the lowest I've ever experienced. In making my reservation I had a number of questions. Both I and Booking.com attempted to reach the hotel on no fewer than five times. but with no success. Only on the final call did someone answer the phone but with a curt, 'too busy to talk now, call back'. And now I understand why: there was never a person specifically assigned to the small front desk. It appeared that front desk responsibilities were delegated to whomever from their restaurant or maintenance staff were available. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Belgium is a bilingual country with both French and Flemish spoken. This is a service industry and English and French should have been spoken by all. At morning check out no one was available except a Flemish speaking cook from the restaurant. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I would NOT recommend the TZand.
Hotel is central to the shops and close to huge underground carpal. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Large room Individual airco Nice balcony overlooking the main square
2 beds pushed together does NOT make a double bed and all hotels need to accept this as a rule No tea and coffee facilities in the room No decent channels on the TV VERY cheap awful drain cleaner smelling toiletries in sachets not even in bottles not enough for 2 people sharing! Very small and ineffective shower screen which did not prevent bathroom getting wet due to placement of shower on the wall
Friendly staff, excellent cafe for lunch and dinner. Great location with nearby secure car parking. Aircon and wifi. We have stayed here many times and would definitely return.
Fast internet, comfortable room, good air/con, good location, nice staff
breakfast was fine but not great
Clean, decent location close to car park. Easy walking distance main square etc.
Bar/restaurant staff very glum and we had to chase them to give a drinks order after waiting 10minutes for a waiter to come to our table
Ideal Location, reasonably priced for Brugge. Friendly, helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent shower and quality towels. Excellent restaurant available and again not over priced.Reasonably priced underground car park directly opposite. Stayed in Brugge on two previous occasions and felt 'ripped off' both times. This stay at the Hotel T' Zand was excellent and would return when next in Brugge.
Perhaps tea and coffee making facilities in the room would compliment the already excellent service.
Good location. Car park very close. Comfortable, reasonable prices, including the bar.
