We had a hotel on the canal side, which was very beautiful. The showers are that small that if you close the shower curtain, you're standing against it. Shower cubicle itself was plastic and looked cheap. I expected more for the price I paid for the room. |

view from room Room far too small. Not equipped well enough, no tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was dreadful, at 9.20 food nearly run out and nothing was replaced. Would not recommendd this hotel and was very disappointed |

The bathroom (AKA the lavatory) was strange but probably a good option for retrofitting . It did not detract form our stay. |

Excellent location, nice staff, great breakfast. The parking house is close and not too expensive. Small bathroom, too soft bed, extra fee for the child bed but I think it is common in Belgium. |

The staff were lovely and very helpful - they had maps and useful information about what to visit and when. The hotel is in a great location on the canal and was very close to the centre and had some lovely bars right across the street too. We would definitely go back! There wasn't any parking but there was a drop off point outstide the hotel and it was easy to follow the directions to the car park, so it wasn't a hardship! Parking was expensive though |

Fantastically situated very close to the centre of town, room overlooking the canal, fantastic breakfast, beautiful hotel. The mattress was very lumpy and a bit uncomfortable!! The shower was very small, would only be a problem if you were a big person... |

very good location, charming design of the hotel - it is in interesting historic building on the canal, the best breakfast we had on our trip through Belgium and Netherlands (not huge variety of meals, but everything of high quality), staff very helpful - initiave in helping us with parking, leaving luggage after check-out, recommending sightseeings...etc. very small room, very basic bathroom euipment (like on the boat or so:), very soft matraces in the bed. |

The Ter Reien hotel is in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk to the main attractions in Bruge, and it's on the edge of a lovely canal. The staff were fantastic and very helpful accommodating our 2 year old daughter. We'd definitely stay there again and recommend Ter Reien to others. I prefer a 'normal' spring mattress instead of that foam type of mattress that was on the bed. |

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Good variety of TV channels inc English ones Room was quite small but adequate for a weekend break. Small room. Cleanliness could be better (there was a empty condom box in the wardrobe from the previous guests) |
