Läget är den största fördelen, hotellet ligger vid en kanal i gamla stan med gångavstånd till shoppinggatorna. Hotellet har en vacker fasad och frukostmatsalen som måste vara flera hundra år är välbevarad och mysig. Vårt rum var okej, inte särskilt stort eller lyxigt, men med badkar. Jag tycker inte att hotellet gör sig förtjänt av att betecknas som fyrstjärnigt. Det är charmigt, men absolut inte lyxigt och det finns ingen möjlighet att äta annat än frukost på hotellet. Möbler och textilier i rummet var inte toppenfräscha. Standarden i rummen verkar variera. |

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Price can't be beat. Short walk into town and private garage parking available made this hotel a great choice for us. |

Room was great, staff very helpful. Location was lovely. No proper shower just shower head in bath. No tables left in breakfast room and would have had to queue for a table. We didnt have time for this so ended up leaving with no breakfast! |

They were able to provide information regarding local sites for visiting and rail services. Offered assistance with travel times and were generally very helpful |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location and design of the hotel was just what we were looking for. It was a shame that the internet was not free and despite paying for a voucher we could never get it to work in our room. |

I had a very enjoyable stay with my girlfriend. It is a beauiful old building with very karge rooms and a real old world feel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay here again. There was quite a lot of noise from teh rooms overhead where we could hear talking etc |

The hotel has a very location, offers good breakfast. The walls are paper thin. One can here what neighbours whisper to each other. The floors sqeak, so be prepared to hear foot steps of your neighbours from upstairs. |

It was fairly near to main square the hotel was adequate small outside area which would be nice in summer Too squashed in at breakfast , breakfast was poor we have stayed at the jacob much better value for money and costs less. not awfully important but telly had one english channel, towels had holes in.pretty hotel. |

Really old historical building with atmosphere, pleasant room with good sized bathroom and lovely view over the canal, good breakfast. Position was ideal for all the sights of Bruges but in a quiet corner. Bar prices were a little high. |

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. A wonderful warm atmosphere on a cold rainy night followed by a lovely breadfast. Will stay here whenver I return to Brugges |

The classic architecture design and layout, makes you feel like going back in time with luxury. You'll find ducks and swans floating around on the canal right outside if you're lucky to stay in a room facing the waters. Breakfast was nice with chocolates to go with your coffee/tea as well as chocolate-spread to go with your bread. Staff very proficient in several languages, speaking sufficient German, French, English and Dutch. Not to mention that the seniority of the reception staff passively added on an old world classic touch overall. |

The first sight to me is museum-like. Also the front desk poeple are elderly but look profesional and friendly. The location is pretty....beside the canal. It's convenient for shopping, sightseeing. The wooden closet is an antique..really really old. I was afaid to put my clothes in...... |

very pleasant hotel in very quiet location but easy to get into central Bruges (5 mins walk). Massage service was very good and good value. breakfast very good and service also very good. |

The breakfasts were good. The position for getting into the city centre was conveient. Room 11 was a bit small and the walls were thin so we could hear poeple in the next room. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Room (50) was beautiful - the windows opening out onto the canal really made this room special. The bar and terrace were good and we had our coffee after breakfast out there. It would be hard to fault this hotel - I guess a shower would have been good although the bath was lovely and big so wasn't a problem. |
