Breakfast was excellent and served by lovely staff, owners are a delight as is the hotel, we had two room, ours was number 24, great room with canal view.
Our sons shared a room was a triple room, there is a shower attachment but unfortunately there is no shower bracket or curtain, so to use the shower they had to stand in the bath and hold the shower rose above them. None of us thought the beds were very good and I suspect that they have plastic mattress protectors underneath and this is the reason.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean & very good quality. Great location. Really good value for money
Attention of owners to guests' requirements. Excellent breakfast provision. Comfortable room and bed with good sized en-suite facility.
Nothing at all.
The entrance floor of the hotel is really cozy. There's a great little garden covered with huge windows at the back and there's a sitting area with a fireplace facing the garden. So nice to spend time in that particular place. The staff is very friendly and interested, breakfast is alright. Our room overlooked the canal and the lovely brick colored houses across the canal. Though the location of the hotel is lovely, it requires a 10-15 min. walk to the center - not quite sure if this is good or bad; depends on what you're seeking.
After that lovely entrance, the room was a bit of a disappointment "in terms of its design". Seemed a bit old. The lamp on the table and its plugs were not in a good condition - it didn't affect our stay but it didn't look good either. Our bed was two single beds put together even though it was said that the room had a queen bed. Also, the beds had casters which made them move so it was a bit uncomfortable sleeping like that as a couple - the beds kept separating constantly.
Very pleasant warm welcome and helpful staff.
EVERYTHING FROM THE ROOM OVERLOOKING THE CANAL TO THE LOVELY BREAKFAST AND FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL OWNER STAFF..
The hotel is a wonderful little gem. Beautiful personal service. Excellent breakfast a little away from the center hustle and bustle. Very comfortable beds, the bathrooms are a little small but very clean with lot's of space for toiletries.
A little noisy if you book a canal view room
Hotel very clean, friendly, comfortable
The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was able to provide a garage during our stay which was v useful
This was the perfect stay! Warmest hospitality, amazing breakfast, quaint and comfy room, -- extra charm and delights everywhere!
more like a b and b, very friendly staff and attentive, breakfast was super
just a bit away from town and activities but not too far to walk
As part of our 20th anniversary trip to Europe, we stayed at Hotel tee Duinen and absolutely loved it. The proprietors and staff were very personable and helpful, the setting was beautiful on the canal, and the hotel itself was very well appointed. We were close to the city center but not right in it, which was ideal.
There was nothing we did not like.
Location View hearty breakfast Friendly staff
Friendly family run hotel in a good location just a short walk from centre. We had a room overlooking the canal which was lovely. Excellent breakfast. Very attentive staff. Definitely stay again.
Staff Cleanliness Location Food
This hotel sits right on the canal and is within walking distance to the center of town and several restaurants. The staff are amazing and really add to the whole experience. We did not encounter one staff member with an attitude. Everyone was extremely thoughtful and helpful. Each morning at breakfast we were greeted warmly and given a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. There is a variety of different foods to choose from for breakfast. The reception greeted us warmly at check in and seemed to really care that we were there. While my husband parked the car, the gentleman that checked us in helped me with all our luggage to our room. We were in Bruges for our anniversary and we felt very special and well taken care of while at the hotel. It was more than we normally spend on a hotel but the staff made us feel like we got a good deal. We would definitely stay again!
The price was a little steep. It would have been nice if the hotel had a restaurant or a lounge but there are restaurants within walking distance so it's not a big deal.
The hotel is well appointed with high standard of decor and furnishing. We had a room at the front of the building which over the looks the canal and a busy road however we were not disturbed by any noise from the street. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop to the city centre just outside the hotel.
Only on street parking or the option of renting a garage from the hotel at a expensive cost.
Amazing breakfast and very friendly service.
Lovely building with very helpful owners and staff.
It's a bit of a walk to the centre of Bruges but it's a nice walk and there are buses which pass right by the door.
Location, Staff, interiors
luggages were left whole day in restaurant lounge because staff forgot to bring it up. Parking expensive
Well located, quiet and clean. Friendly helpful staff.
Lovely Boutique style Hotel with polite & helpful staff. The breakfast was simple but of the highest quality ingredient, including freshly squeezed orange juice & fresh coffee.
Double bed was made from two singles and had a noticeable gap. The room was a loft room and being 6' 4" I found myself having to cautious of my movements.
Owners and staff are very friendly and made our stay most enjoyable. It is a most charming and stylish hotel just the right distance from the centre of town.
Friendly helpful staff, delicious breakfast, situation by the canal in a picturesque street.
The location was good, it's a 10-15 min walk to the centre but it's a lovely walk by the canal and you ll pass lot of places to see on your way. The staff was absolutely fantastic , super polite and helpful. The breakfasts in the morning were elaborate and were a perfect happy start to the day.
