We both found the bed a little soft, and the European large square pillows uncomfortable, but I guess that's personal preference.
It took a couple of days for the used glasses in the bathroom to be replaced with clean glasses.
We were awoken to the sound of jack-hammers (or similar) on 3 mornings of our stay, and our room was probably furthest away from that site facing the internal courtyard. We were not made aware that the neighbouring property was a construction/renovation site.
The lady who checked us in on arrival was very friendly and welcoming, and we found that other staff we encountered were friendly too.
The hotel was spotless, as was our room. It didn't really feel like a large hotel - more intimate.
The location was an easy walk to Grand Place, and the many eating, drinking and shopping establishments of central Brussels.
