De Wens Bron is a century-old renovated farmhouse situated in countryside surroundings a 20 minute drive from Hasselt in Limburg. This family-run guesthouse benefits from free Wi-Fi in the public areas. The 3 rooms at this intimate bed and breakfast include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Wens Bron also has 2 shared bathrooms with a shower. Sint-Truiden, featuring the UNESCO World Heritage listed St. Agnes Beguinage and Town Hall, is a 20 minute drive away. Tongeren is 10 minutes away by car and has a famous antiques market. The landscaped grounds include a tranquil pond and seating areas. Guests can enjoy free tea or coffee in the pub-style bar upon arrival which also serves drinks including Belgian beer inside and on the terrace. De Wens Bron serves a delicious full English breakfast, prepared with fresh eggs from the owners’ chickens. A Continental breakfast is available if preferred. Bicycle rental and a packed lunch service are available upon request. It is also possible to bring bicycles and securely store them on site. What a special place. Had the best welcome ever when we arrived. Everything is so relaxed. No hurry, you're on a holiday. Th garden is a magical place that you have to see regardless if you're in to figurines or not. The English breakfast is soooooooo good ! George the owner is such a nice man and he will really make you feel at home. Only good things to say about the place. O did I mention the jukebox and the beer yet.... We will go back without a doubt!

We do not need 300 words for this but the best thing is the garden of George. we have not seen anything like it!! Showerrrooms can be restored a little but not a big problem.

Tijdens ons verblijf in De Wensbron hebben wij een voortreffelijk weekend gehad. De hartelijkheid, vriendelijke en zeer gastvrije gastheer heeft hier zeker een grote bijdrage in gehad. Fiets en wandelroutes waren beschikbaar en we voelde ons hier welkom. Ook het ontbijt was goed. Keuze uit een engels breakfast of continentaal. Beide geprobeerd en zeker voldoende en lekker. werd indien nodig nog aangevuld. Kortom een aanrader.

Je moet een zekere feeling hebben met de Engelse way of life ; Het heeft iets charmants ,niet direct onze stijl , Het onthaal is wel hartelijk .het verhaal achter de man heeft ook wel iets ; Over het ontbijt valt niet te klagen .Ik koos voor Engels en mijn man continentaal.Beiden waren verzorgd en copieus .Wel 3xis men komen vragen of we voldoende hadden .De eigenaar is niet opdringerig ,geeft u vertrouwen en is behulpzaam; Prijs kwaliteit zeer goed Onze gps was uitgeleend aan de kids . Miserie miserie om het te vinden . Met het woord Borgloon ben je niks !!!Totaal onbekend in Borgloon!!!!!!!!!!!!! Het ligt immers in kerniel Aub dit vermelden !!!!!!!!! Het toilet en douche liggen ver van de kamer en het huis zucht bij iedere stap ..Maar gezien de prijs konden we niks anders verwachten .

De Wens Bron is een nette, aangename en huiselijke B&B. keuze uit een gewoon ontbijt of een engels ontbijt. 's avonds kon je nog een glas drinken uit een heel groot assortiment, gewoon opschrijven wat je drinkt en bij het vertrek wordt het afgerekend. prijs/kwaliteit is echt super! je krijgt tal van eerlijke tips om te gaan eten en de omgeving is fantastisch. wij gaan alleszins terug!

Bardzo miłe przyjęcie, domowa atmosfera. Mimo bardzo wczesnej godziny (wyjazd do domu) gospodarz wstał, żeby przygotować nam gorące śniadanie. Planujemy wybrać się tam znowu.

We werden heel vriendelijk onthaald en kregen de nodige informatie over de omgeving. We raakten niet uitgekeken op de tuin. Door het minder goede weer werd er wat meer gewandeld in Hasselt en Tongeren in plaats van te fietsen. We hebben nog nooit zoveel jenevers aan de struiken zien hangen. Ook de kersen waren erg lekker. Je kon ze gewoon kopen langs de weg. Zeker een streek om verder te verkennen.
