Thermae Grimbergen Hotel  

Really disappointed! Ive booked a romm with double bed and when we irrived at the reception the lady told me they dont have room with double bed, so she said for 20 euros more we can have a luxury room... Once ive payd 190 euros for 2 nights we went to the "Luxury" room and it was awful... Ton lux at all, like african style and you have to pass thou the restaurant to go there... Then we went back to the reception to cancel the bookning, the staff was not friendly at all, we had a long arguments as they didnt wanted to give my money back as I was not satisfied of the hotel at all... Will never, ever book this hotel again in my life!!!!!! Never ever... And one other point, the staff at the reception are racists, they spoked in Dutch with me even if they know to speak english and french! Not friendly at all!!!!! Im really disappointed, and I still do not have my money back!

+Good, free wi-fi, better than in most Brussels city hotels (where it tends to be expensive)

-Bus stop to Brussels is close but the schedule is unreliable - almost missed my meeting

Good continental breakfast, clean room, comfy bed. Very quiet.

Didn't realise distance from midi to grimbergen. Got in taxi and paid 44 euros but there is a bus station down the road from the hotel and it only costs 2 euros per person Useful information for any traveller x

The staff were very helpful, very pleasant. The food was very nice. My room was clean tidy and fresh. The bath is full size and the shower is strong. The spa was busy and the girl coped very well with all the customers. She spoke several languages too.

The bathroom is not pratical--> no furtiture to put his affairs. the price of the thermal center-->only one price! It's expensive for a business stay, you can go to the spa only in the evening for 2 or 3 hours... No package service possible : room and spa...it's very pity

The main road was very noisy and the sound proofing was not adequate so not a good night sleep - take your ear plugs!

Inconvenient Stairs with no elevator, Very basic furnished room with almost unrecognizable big stair to enter the it. We asked for double bed but only after arrival we found that they don't have it for us. Poor value for money

Nice hotel in different buildings. Rooms are nice and tidy. I will check in next time for sure

Close to the attractions we wanted to see.

Room was very dark, the stand inside the door to rest your case on we had to use a torch to look for things in the case. Even with all the lights on it was still very dark. The clock in the room does not work, the plug for the sink was men't for the bath so it was impossible to keep water in the sink for a shave. The electrics leave a lot to be desired. Every item was connected by an extension lead that hung down the back of a long thin cupboard, this housed the coffee machine, a fridge, and a safe, you had to disconnect items before you could plug in any thing else.

Wouldn't recommend for those with mobility issues as there are no elevators and ros are accessed by steep narrow staircase.

It is located at good peacefull place..... & not far away from city also.

I liked the location, the patio with table and chairs, the garden and little park in front. Also the parking was very easy.

I did not like the wet room bathroom, as when you took a shower the water went all over the floor.

It was in a nice clean locality near to the bus station for the airport, near to where our family live. The breakfast was excellent and the room, although small was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. It was possible to sit on the veranda and view the lake but there was not the time or the right weather.

The room we stayed in was small and the lighting was dim.

Extrêmement bruyant : le soir impossible de dormir à cause des ronronnements de la Tv et du frigo, le matin réveil a 4h30 avec les camions qui s'arrêtent au feu tricolore de la route. Salle de bain très petite, semblant refaite avec peinture plafond tout écaillée. Pour le prix le confort n'est vraiment pas au rdv : a déconseiller !

Acces au chambre par des escaliers trés ingrème.Pas d'ascenseur et pas beaucoup de chaine tv. Murs pas isolés du tout.Chaque batement de porte s'entend dans toutes les chambres du même étage.

Habitación amplia y bien decorada. El personal muy amable. Los desayunos (incluidos en el precio), bastante buenos. Sin parking, porque no es necesario. Zona tranquila y bien comunicada con Bruselas mediante autobús con parada cercana. Sitios próximos donde comer con calidad y buen precio

Insonorización insuficiente, aunque, dado el escaso tráfico, no llega a ser causa de molestias. Falta de alfombrilla de baño.

Ligging van hotel t.o.v. de Expo Brussel. Ontbijt is prima. Goede bedden.
