Great room, excellent staff, simple but great food (the local beer is recommended) quiet, comfy beds (although a little low to the ground), easy to find, good links from the town to other parts of Belgium, good location for the large nearby conference centre - overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

Absolutely friendly owners. They take care of everything and is a real family business and you feel part of it. Restaurant has a nice menu with local specialties. Rooms are rustic but comfortable. Good and complete breakfast. Very nice location.

The hotel was pleasant and our room very comfortable. The hotel is close to Kortrijk a beautiful town and situated in nice grounds. First impressions are not encouraging but once in the hotel grows on you. It might discourage some guests that there is no restaurant at weekends and the bar closes at 22.00.

We wanted somewhere that was easy to find and not in a city centre, since I had not driven on the continent for many years. The hotel Troopeird was ideal in this respect. We ate in the hotel and the food and wine were good. The wine was a bit expensive.

Prima hotel voor het doel van onze reis. Wat vooral goed was was het ontbijt in de sfeervolle tuinkamer. Erg verzorgd en lekker met vriendelijke bediening. Niets.

Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn netjes en schoon. Beetje nostalgisch ingericht waar wij wel van houden, maar dat is voor een ander misschien ouderwets. Vind dit smaakgebonden. Komen veel in hotels die vaak een steriele uitstraling hebben dus dit was erg prettig. De glaswand die op de rand van het bad staat is erg onhandig als men in bad wil.Er is aan de muur maar 1 beugel voor vasthouden Ben hierdoor toen ik in bad wilde gaan zitten uitgegleden, met enkele flink gekneusde ribben ten gevolg.

Der Hoteleigentümer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist für mich etwas besonderes und hat nichts mit den typischen Hotelketten zu tun. Die Einrichtung bestand zum Teil aus sehr alten antiken Möbeln, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Man merkt, daß der Eigentümer hinter dem steht, was er tut. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist auch sehr gut. Ich habre mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Die nähe zur Straße! Allerdings war mein Zimmer nach hinten raus, sodaß ich nichts davon mitbekommen habe.

- L'efficacité et la simplicité de l'accueil par les propriétaires exploitants. - Une chambre simple pour un 3 *, mais sans défaut fonctionnel (chambre standard) - l'excellent petit déjeuner. - le charme de l'hôtel lui-même et de son jardin. - pour les amateurs, l'exposition de dentelle flamande. - le rapport qualité/prix. - Hôtel presque trop discret, risque de passer devant sans le voir. - Ponctuellement, accessibilité à l'environnement direction Tournai rendue problématique par des travaux routiers.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en voldoende parkeerruimte. Lekker ruime kamer, ruim bed (2 meter lang), heerlijke douche. Geen (over-) last van het verkeer op de doorgaande weg, kamer is goed geïsoleerd. Heerlijk ontbijt in de ochtend De matras was niet meer zo heel goed.
