Location: ideal place to visit the city. Very courteaous personnel.Parking provided. We bought the "special deal" through the Booking.com site, approximately 50% reduction. However the room we got, was not a special deal, it felt like we got a room that would go normally for this price: fairly small, small bathroom, none of the charm that the other rooms had. Far below our expectations. |

Romantic room with a canal view; location; swimming pool/sauna/steam room; attentive staff. The bathroom was not very comfortable. |

Relaxed atmosphere plus its proximity to the centre of Bruges. Private car park also an advantage if you are driving. Room temperatures too high for comfortable sleeping. Price of breakfast at approximately £30 a head is ridiculous. |

The politeness of the staff, nothing too much trouble. The excellent rooms will definetly be going back for another visit, same hotel same room If one small grip would be the cost of breakfast so we never tried it |

Room with great character, very cute, very very comfortable, very well located Common areas were darkish. They should include Breakfast & internet wireless in the pricing. Internet information should tell us that its better to reach it by taxi. |

Fabulous hotel, centrally situated, very pleasant & helpful staff. We were given a choice of 3 rooms on arrival and were shown each one. Bruges is lovely, I would go there again and definitely stay in this hotel. |

Very attentive staff, at all times. Little extras, like turning down the bed in the evenings and leaving a weather report for the next day. The public areas are small, and in all of these areas smoking was allowed. Therefore, as non-smokers, there was absolutely nowhere to sit and relax or enjoy a cup of coffee, etc, which completely spoilt our stay. |

Love this hotel - 4th stay. Bedrooms very comfortable, good decor. Bar very cosy (enjoyed best in winter) and breakfast (although expensive) is worth it on at least one occasion. |

Location perfect, room comfortable, decor stylish, staff cheerful and helpful, atmosphere relaxed, clean and well run - just what we ask for in an hotel. Our lovely room in the eaves did not have a proper shower in the bathroom - we would like to have known that before accepting it. The bathroom decor was tired compared with the bedroom. Breakfast was adequate but expensive, so we ate elswhere after 1st morning. |

The hotel is a grand 15th century structure, which has been updated with time, keeping the historic touch and still making it very easy to use. The staff is the most helpful I have seen in Europe and they go that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for you. |

I liked the fact that it was in the city centre and everything was easily accessible. The hotel not owning its restaurant. |

Location excellent as were the staff. The newer executive rooms had bathrooms that looked stylish but not good to use, also €30 breakfast was the only one available hence had breakfast outside of hotel which was no problem and more interesting. |

The staff were extremely helpful, and pleasant. Our requests were met, lovely view from window. This hotel is lovely for special occasions On a negative note, this hotel is not somewhere you could book at the last minute, for a quick break away. Its fairly expensive, the breakfast is extremely expensive and the parking adds further costs. we stayed in room 231, which was a lovely large room, however, the shower was over the bath and it was difficult not to get water everywhere, because there was no shower curtain. |
