Good service, nice breakfast, this is an old hotel with a plan to refurbish the rooms. It needs to be improved to keep it at such a high rating.
The swimming pool is very small and seems very old.
Love the gracious atmosphere of De Tuilerienne, our room was lovely and spacious, the bar area cosy and welcoming, the wallpaper fantastic!
Nothing not to like!
Not one for normally writing a review, but after staying here for tonight I felt I must. Can not do this hotel justice in my small review. Will be recommending this to everyone I know. Location is great, staff are excellent and can only speak about our room but it was fantastic. Enough said stop reading and book this hotel.
Location, character of the building and service are all excellent.
Have never found fault with this hotel.
Our "annexe" room was in the old stable block, but its period features, huge bathroom and peaceful location exceeded our dreams. Few hotels can have such a beautiful face to both the front and rear elevation
Parking is tricky - and essential if you're driving, although staff were helpful and attentive
- A water bottle costs 8 euros. - the mattress was TERRIBLE resulting in poor quality of sleep. - check-out was chaotic - the lady at breakfast was not polite at all, making a fuss about a signature for no reason whatsoever.
My friend stayed in this hotel for her birthday. And I asked hotel to book for her nice room and bought flowers. Thanks Natalia - she upgraded room and bought lovely wight roses! My friend was absolutely happy! Thank you!!!
Location is excellent. Room was very comfortable. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!
The decor The sumptuous breakfast The size of the room The additional extras such as ironing board, coffee & tea making facilities The helpful staff
Very nice hotel. Great staff.
Staff - we asked to extend our stay, were told that it was ok, but they could not enter it into the system (not trained / allowed), asked to leave a note, next morning we were kicked out, no apologies or help.
Location, hotel facilities, helpful staff, great car park.
Location was beautiful and the interior is in tune with the age of the romantic city setting.
Breakfast was great, but really expensive. Even for a hotel breakfast.
Great Breakfast and great service. Great food. Great bedding. Comfortable mattress and a seperate top sheet and comforter. Many European hotels combine these two and it can become hot and uncomfortable.
perfect location, lovely room & staff friendly & attended to our needs. I forgot my plug adaptor & the staff lent me on for my stay at no extra charge. they let us stay longer in the car park checked out at 11 left car park at 4.
parking was expensive 25 euros a night when a Multi storey car park in Bruges was charging 9 euros for 24 hours.
Amazing central location. Everything within easy walking distance. Ambience of the hotel. There was a very friendly, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. Really large, comfortable room with excellent bathroom facilities. Fabulous canal and city view from our room. Very good bar, lounge, and indoor pool. Good, secure on site car parking. facilities. Superb breakfasts.
Very little. The desk was busy at check in and check out times and there could perhaps have been another member of staff on duty then. An on site restaurant is always nice to have, but there was a really top notch restaurant next door and several others within 100 metres or so.
Fabulous location. My 16yr old and 10 yr old daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and Turkish Bath.
Didn't have breakfast during our stay as far too expensive at 25 euros per adult and 12.50 euros per child. More than a plate of moules frites!
The location of the hotel is excellent and the comfort factor is quite high.the staff were attentive and hotel adequately staffed
The hotel had clearly been luxurious in the past. However, the decor has been hastily made over and requires some attention to detail to keep in in the small leading hotels of the world category.
amazing room, great decor, The bed was out of this world! The best night sleep. Great service from the reception given maps and directions to great places to eat and were the tourist traps are.
Good beds Helpfull staff
Cosy pool with hammam but in need of renovation The shower in the bathroom wasn't working well
