We reserved double/matrimonial bed but in fact we got two separate beds put close to each other. Its quite disappointing for the couple in their romantic journey. We informed reception about that but got no response or apologies. The hotel offers Spa but no bathrobe. The general quality not worth its price.
Courteous staff, clean, quiet, comfortable.
The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful city. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Lovely large comfortable rooms.
Loved the hotel
Reception staff brilliant Room stunning Nice spa facilities Excellent position Excellent and varied breakfast Character of hotel was beautiful and very welcoming
Breakfast at 25euros per person on top of high end room rate was a bit steep 6 euros for robe and slippers hire also should be included in room
Breakfast was excellent, served in a lovely setting, our room was huge and well-appointed, cosy fire in the bar all day. The hotel was very close to the historic centre and all the museums and other places of interest. Staff were attentive and helpful.
We would have liked an alternative to the hot, heavy duvet on our bed and we had to ask for the Christmas muzak to be toned down as Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer at breakfast was too much.
Just such a lovely hotel with great staff and great location. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. This was our second visit and there will be a 3rd, 4th .......
Very elegant decor, pleasant staff.
For the price it is lacking in some services usually available in high-end,high-priced hotels. For example no doorman, no concierge and no bellmen. We handled our luggage ourselves.
The location is very good as are many of the top hotels in that area. The furnishings are very ornate and bespoke and tastefully done. The cleanliness and attention to detail re towels.bed linen all excellent.
In a nutshell,,,the staff were very rude. no bottle of complimentary water in bedroom. heating difficult to adjust and air con not working therefore very hot in bedrooms. I paid 1500 euros for one night and booked 3 exec rooms. One needed to be a twin for my husband and 12 year old son to sleep in. They were both put in a double bed on another floor to myself and other son. I asked why, when I booked back in May ,for a twin was I not accommodated and they said , " No guarantee" with a nonchalant shrug of shoulders. Please be very careful when booking this Hotel, it is very pricey for the money and not worth it. Go to Dukes Palace or any of the other 4/5 star and save the extra on a nice meal out. No restaurant for lunch or evening meal!! patrons beware!!! I am a genuinely nice person, who never complains about a darn thing but this was an unbelievably expensive hotel. We paid less to stay at Raymon le Blancs Quat aux saisons in Oxford!!!
The bar/sitting room-warm friendly inviting. Staff were excellent- nothing was too much trouble. Nice suite- very comfortable. Charles the concierge was an absolute star
Nothing Perhaps the toilet shouldn't be in the bedroom!
Breakfast - freshness and variety of the offer; The beautiful & romantic high queen size beed in room 243; The spacious bathroom; The cozy lounge corner around the corner, all ready for the coming winter season.
can't think of anything
Good service, nice breakfast, this is an old hotel with a plan to refurbish the rooms. It needs to be improved to keep it at such a high rating.
The swimming pool is very small and seems very old.
Love the gracious atmosphere of De Tuilerienne, our room was lovely and spacious, the bar area cosy and welcoming, the wallpaper fantastic!
Nothing not to like!
Not one for normally writing a review, but after staying here for tonight I felt I must. Can not do this hotel justice in my small review. Will be recommending this to everyone I know. Location is great, staff are excellent and can only speak about our room but it was fantastic. Enough said stop reading and book this hotel.
Location, character of the building and service are all excellent.
Have never found fault with this hotel.
Our "annexe" room was in the old stable block, but its period features, huge bathroom and peaceful location exceeded our dreams. Few hotels can have such a beautiful face to both the front and rear elevation
Parking is tricky - and essential if you're driving, although staff were helpful and attentive
- A water bottle costs 8 euros. - the mattress was TERRIBLE resulting in poor quality of sleep. - check-out was chaotic - the lady at breakfast was not polite at all, making a fuss about a signature for no reason whatsoever.
My friend stayed in this hotel for her birthday. And I asked hotel to book for her nice room and bought flowers. Thanks Natalia - she upgraded room and bought lovely wight roses! My friend was absolutely happy! Thank you!!!
Location is excellent. Room was very comfortable. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!
The decor The sumptuous breakfast The size of the room The additional extras such as ironing board, coffee & tea making facilities The helpful staff
Very nice hotel. Great staff.
Staff - we asked to extend our stay, were told that it was ok, but they could not enter it into the system (not trained / allowed), asked to leave a note, next morning we were kicked out, no apologies or help.
Location, hotel facilities, helpful staff, great car park.
Location was beautiful and the interior is in tune with the age of the romantic city setting.
Breakfast was great, but really expensive. Even for a hotel breakfast.
