Very nice breakfast

The elevator makes a terrible noice and if the room is near is impossible to sleep at night we particularly ask for another room THE WIFI HAS CHARGES 5euro p/h

1) The fact that it was near the train and tram station. 2) It served a satifactory breakfast. 3) The staff speaks very well english.

1) The fact that check-in is at 15:00 pm! It is too late, espacially when you are tired you have to wait until the afternoon to check-in. 2) The rooms are not the ones that are showed in the hotel's website pictures. 3) Apart from breakfast which is served at 7:30-10:00am, the rest of the day they don't serve anything else, not even water! 4) The rooms are too small for the number of persons that are hosted. 5) Some rooms are extremely dark and with suffocating atmosphere. 6) Not only they don't provide free wi-fi internet, but you have to pay 5 euro for one hour which you have to use it continuously by the time you log in! (If you need to use half an hour you loose the rest half). 7) The rooms don't have mini bar. 8) The keys of the rooms are discharged every day and you have to get new keys every day to get in to your room! 9) The staff is not very friendly to the customers.

The location. The room was ok, not too small. WiFi - free and operational OK. Breakfast, modest but OK.

The staircase is very claustrophobic.

The location to the main train station and the city centre

Our room was to hot. We advised the staff but nothing was done. We had to open the window all night and therefore could not sleep due to the hotel being on a main road.

The reception is in another hotel (it is about 200 metres far from Max hotel). If you want to take a shower, please, note that you will need 'to swim' to the toilet. Because all the water from the shower will be placed on the floor. There is no conditioner. There is no remote control for TV. You won't be able to use internet for free. There is no lift (you have to go to your room using precipitous and narrow stairs). The last point is horrible smell from the toilet. I was very disappointed by this reservation for >120 EUR (double room)

Very clean

the hotel is located about 5 min from the Midi Train Station in Brussels- you can easily get there from the Charleroi airport (bus shuttle for 13e) or by train from any part of Belgium (also international trains all stop at Midi); the hotel has a nicely designed reception hall; rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning (with a heating function, very helpful if you get cold while sightseeing all day...), towels are included; breakfast is very nice, with tasty coffee, scrambled eggs with bacon, and a selection of croissants;

the hotel is located in a sad part of the city, very dirty and I guess not very safe after dark

We stay two days without internet connection. Wifi found signal but not access internet. Ask support of the reception. He said check again your device, he is not the IT engineer. How fun his reply. When ask for some places to visit in Brussels. After his replied we found no way to go.

Friendly staff. Clean room and excellent breakfast facilities.

Relativel close to the train station from Paris. Free low-speed wifi despite information on booking.com there there is no free wi-fi at all. Design of the hotel is modern, just like shown on the hotel pictures.

The rooms (actually, everything except the reception and breakfast area) is much, much older than shown on the pictures - majour dissapointment! I can honestly say that the pictures do not reflect reality at all. Judging by the pictures we expected a modern new ikea-style rooms, but those were really old and shabby. The staff was not friendly at all! We have arrived couple hours earlier the check-in time and asked if we can have a room already, the receptionist answered No without checking availability, without sorry or at least a smile. Further communications were not friendly either, we had to have an argument on a different matter, no complain was handled in a normal way. In general the hotel doesnt worth the money.I'm not comparing to the 5 star hotels, I'm comparing to the same price in Paris/Brussels, and I'm sure you can find a lot better. No shower curtain in the room. Breakafst was poor, but probably ok for the money. Do not stay there!

Hotel was clean and staffs were friendly! Location is good, just beside Midi Station, 15mins walk to old town. But the area which hotel located isn't very nice, even I felt no safe to walk alone during the night!

We stay 7 days,the seets did not change, rude receptionist(3th april night), very small elevator(i think it can not change but it can be fixed because it stay between two floors many times ),and the rooms needs renovation absolutely(not something very obnioxious but it is pity for the whole hotel icon),the staff must know better english

Staff were friendly, helpful. Location close to Gare du Midi, and whilst not the best part of the city it is a convenient location. Generous breakfast, a good budget hotel

The lift was not functioning very well, trapped in the lift twice during the stay..although swift action by staff minimise the stranded moments.

I liked the design of the main lobby and the interiors of the room itself.

I was very disappointed by the common areas (especially the hallway on my floor). I think we were put in the old wing of the hotel. It simply was disgusting (carpets were not clean, the closet doors were broken and were simply placed against the open closet, etc). Also, the front desk staff was very rude (they were pretty rude to most of the guests I saw them interact with while I was in the lobby (whether it was about being over charged, or about the wifi connection not working or not having light in the guest rooms!)

We had a delegation of 10 people coming. The hotel was chosen based on the availability of the needed number of rooms and location close to the station. Nice breakfast.

In a number of rooms there was no heating - room temperature was around 15 degrees, in March, the hotel personnel just wouldn't do anything to assist, and people had to freeze during the night. Some of the guests got stuck in the elevators, which are very tiny there. Plus the staff was not attentive enough, asking for payment from the guests when the rooms have already been fully prepaid.

Do not go to this hotel. They have bed bugs ! My friend got stung everywhere and there's a high risk of getting those home.

The hôtel was vert close to the Eurostar train station. The Internet connection was fast and very helpfull.

The staff member on the reception desk tried to give me a one bed room/my booking was double bed room. I did not like that.
