The staff where freindly and the hotels entrance was warm and freindly too. You are just round the corner from the midi train station which is a bonus and if you head out of the hotel to the right and the left at the big horn. Then that's you on the way to the centre of the city where u will fing grote market and the grand place which at nite time was amazing!! It will take you ten minute walk The area was not the best. But what place in the world doesn't have a dodgy area!! Calling it dodgy isn't really 100% accurate as when u go 2 a diffrent country for the fisrt time it can seem a little weird. |

The hotel was VERY close to the Midi Train station, so transport was very easy. Breakfast was also wonderful with a large selection of items, including croissants, eggs, breakfast meatballs, yogurt, coffee machine and juice. The room was a bit shabby - the bed off kilter and the window looked out onto a vent shaft. Old furnishings as well. I have a feeling the room was a spare that they don't actually use but had to give us because the hotel was full and the elevator broke so we couldn't get to the 5th floor with our luggage. Who knows. The photos of the lobby are beautiful but I am not sure that the rooms are the same. |

It was near the Gare du Midi, which was handy. I found the room rather cold and couldn't get the heater in the bathroom to work. The lift was unreliable. |

Ease of checking in and out, reasonable choice of breakfast, and proximity to rail/metro station. No English language TV channel. |

The Breakfast It is not wll managed at all. The shower in room 303 was unusable as there were two holes in the shower pipe and the water sprayed everywhere. The battery in the remote control was not funtioning. The toilet did not always re-fill after flushing and teh stopcock had to be turned off to stop the water re-filling the lavatory bowl! I reported in French all this upon departure but the receptionist did not seem interested and did not note it so I presume nothing was done to rectify the problems! |

Unfriendly staff: At 1.30pm the rooms were not ready, nobody wanted to check me in, I said I was going to be back late at night: "No problem" was the answer, when I came back at 10.30pm the reservation had been cancelled.- Hotel is run down, everything is half broken. Elevator takes you to the basement every single time before it goes up again. Don't stay in this hotel. Go to a cheaper one in the neighborhood, then you know you are just getting the basics, or go to a more expensive one. But this one, claiming to be upscale, is a real nuisance. |

Very close to the Metro station Lemonier and the Train Station Midi (South). Discent breakfast. If they give room in the tidy buldings of the hotel then everything is perfect. Last time I got a room in the building 1 where the elevator did not work for 4 days (the hotel rooms are shared in 4 separate buildings). This time I got room in another building (the elevator worked perfectly) but the toilet smelt meatballs etc. Actually the room ventilation was directly connected to that of the hotel kitchen. Thanks God, I was chilly and my nose couldn't sniff properly. |

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Our room was very large, with 4 beds - there were only 2 of us. Situated 10 mins walk (max) from Midi Station, and about 20/25 mins from main square. Our bathroom's bath/shower needed attention. |

The room is absolutely not the room shows on the pictures on the web site. It's old and depreciated in fact. I was soooooooo Disappointed. The elevator is extremely small and out of service sometimes. And the air conditioner is also opened sometimes only. The service is poor...and they will only say it's not my fault if you have any queries. It could only be classified as Two Star hotel at maximum. And also the name "Floris Hotel" is not shown in front of the hotel. It wasted me so much time to locate the hotel. |

Large family room, very close to Lemonnier metro station, staff helpful, air con Noisy due to busy road and tram/metro line and no double glass window, district too unpleasant to go on foot, district has no nice shops other than those in Gare du Midi, no facility to buy or make tea or coffee in room or in hotel, breakfast good quality but little variety, no easy access to those with wheelchair (restaurant has multiple levels and stairs), the garden view and the Senne "river" as described on booking.com website [http://www.booking.com/hotel/be/ustel.html?sid=fa3b72f3c6011b9420fccaaffa4ebbea] "the view on the Senne river" just is a small square pond with dead water, air con noisy, room sterile, internet (WiFi) not free, no peg in room nor in bathroom only a large cupboard |

Breakfast good! great pillows clean crisp sheets Our 1st room toilet was broken, moved rooms but was smoking & window wouldn't close. Had to move back to room with broken toilet as no others. Took just over an hour to sort so went into our evening. Moved to 'suite' next night which was nice - for a budget suite. had to laugh at experience. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautifully kept (apart from the one where the door wouldn't even shut, but even then, the room itself was lovely). The breakfast room is very interesting to look at - its an old pump house. Breakfast is very good value. The first room they gave me had someone elses luggage in. Luckily for them I am honest. The second had a door which wouldn't even stay closed from the outside (but did lock properly from the inside). The third was lovely. |

Our room and the bathroom in it were really spacious, the bed (including quilts and pillows) were very comfortable so we slept very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. Location is quite convenient. It would be very nice to have the Internet for free and safes in the rooms. The district seems to be not so safe. |

The location was good for sightseeing, being about 10 minutes walk from the Grand Place. The lobby and public areas were attractive. The buffet breakfast was excellent but be warned that the food is set out on 2 levels with 3 steep steps between the two levels. The local restaurants were very reasonable given that Brussels has a repuation for expensive restaurants. All in all this hotel was incredible value for money at 110 euros for a double room for 2 nights. Although the hotel was near to the Gare Du Midi Eurostar station it was difficult to find on foot. Make sure you know which side of the station you have come out of. We asked for 2 extra pillows on the first night but did not receive them and had to ask again on the second day. There was a huge and noisy fair all along the street. We could hear it from our room at the back of the hotel and it could well disturb light sleepers. The decor in the room was a little scruffy and there were grease marks on the wall behind the bed. |

We found the location being close to the city centre very convenient with good transport links nearby. We were disappointed by the lack of a bar and restaurant facilities during the day / evening. |
