This design hotel is situated in a former fish-smoking factory from 1923 and offers elegant rooms and historic features. Mercure Vé includes a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. Great hotel located on the Vismarkt. A lively square with bars, cafe's and restaurants. Close to the historic sights and market square. Hotel is decorated modern and stylish. Room was normal for European standards and clean. Our room was in the front facing the square and there was a little street noise but not bothersome. You can ask for a room facing a side street which I am sure is really quiet. Breakfast was good. They also eggs cook per order I believe.

Ligging T.O.V. bezienswaardigheden. Design,aankleding,inrichting(incusief kleurstelling en combinatie van verleden met hedendaagse) Ontvangst en service bij balie,ontbijt. Rust bij kamer aan achterzijde. Informatie en platte grond stad,inclusief vé- wandeling. Ontbreken van parking en bereikbaarheid bij alternatief.

volgens uw website zou er een parkeergarage zijn onder het hotel. later meldde het hotel dat dit niet meer juist was. wel een (veel duurdere) oplossing in de buurt maar die was moeilijk te bereiken.

de Vismarkt heeft zich ontwikkeld tot een gezellig uitgaansgebied, dicht bij de Grote Markt. Zeer gastvrij en behulpzame medewerkers. Smaakvolle kamers, goede bedden. Historie van het pand is interessant en bepaalde accenten van de vis rokerij zijn bewaard gebleven. Modern in een historische ambiance. Eind oktober nog laat buiten op het terras genieten. Een warm dekentje erbij,als op wintersport....

Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en attent en doet er alles aan om aan de wensen van hun gasten tegemoet te komen. Het ontbijt is zeer verzorgd, zelfs een glaasje bubbels is voorzien. Op vraag van de gast wordt ter plaatse een roerei of een spiegelei klaargemaakt. Op onze vraag zorgde het hotel voor een bejwale kinderoppas zodat wij zorgeloos konden gaan dineren in de stad.

de kleinschaligheid en de mooie stijl waarin het hotel is ingericht we kregen bij aankomst een bonnetje voor een gratis drankje, maar mineraalwater bleek daar niet onder te vallen en dat moest apart afgerekend worden. Snapt iemand dat ?

Das war mein 5.Besuch in diesem Haus Leider war die Anfahrtstrasse zum Hotel gesperrt, so daß es sehr schwer war, das Hotel mit den Koffern zu erreichen

Genoten van de luxe kamer en badkamer. De ligging aan gezellig plein midden in het stadje. Alles is perfect. Heerlijk ontbijt. Het is niet alleen welkom thuis in Mechelen, maar ook welkom thuis in Hotel Vé.
