Breakfast was very good. Close to the center. Nice/friendly staff First night they gave me a horrible room-whose bathroom had no any heating source (inner temperature was like outer temp) the shower cap was broken, flooding water everywhere, also in the room, only an electric heater and only one single glass-window with bad isolation, so I got a cold from there, that night! Next day I requested changing the room and they changed with a smaller one (initially I reserved a double-room-single-use-non-smoker), but this was nicer, because it was enough warmfull. But, the bathroom of the second room have no any source of refreshing air and if staying more than one minut in you could sweat a lot. The area (Max Adolphe) it is very noisy even after midnight, because of a lot of traffic abd street metalic grill... |

LOcation, breakfast, the room business class was nice and big. The receptionist just forgot to give a wake-up call, so we were almost late for the plane. No apologise, no take-away breakfast box was offered, as we did not have any time to have it in the hotel. |

Perfect location! Close to the Nord Station, to the main street, to the shopping street, 5-10 min walking distance from Grand Place. Spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast!!! Good quality-price offer. This was my second stay at this hotel and definetly not the last one. Some renovation is needed in the hotel and in the rooms/bathrooms. The double name of the hotel is confusing when you come for the 1st time. |

Good location, breakfast was ok It seems that hotel has had the renovation but not in all its facilities. The part of the floor where I was given the room seemed much older that the rest, the key of the room did not work properly and the room was in poor condition. |

the entrance has been done up and looks modern and inviting but its a little confusing as they have not finished yet - it was a maze to find my room. the hotel seems to be divided in 2; there is the modernised area and then the old part which is out of date. plus it was not as close to the centre as i would have liked for such a short trip. |

The location not so far from city centre this hotel doesn't look like a 3 stars hotel, the furniture is really old and the bathroom as well. |

Everything I needed in the right location for the event I was attending. Comfortable room, good breakfast, good shower, no problems. At the time of booking a good rate. Easy access to the centre and from the metro line at Rogier to Gare du Midi. Not a dislike, just a confusion as the hotel name is prominently displayed as Marivaux with the name Vendome appearing not very obviously at the entrance to the brasserie - so I walked past it first time. |

location, breakfast price included in the room price room's window to the wall, bad smell in the room and in the toilet, temperature in the room was like in sauna, same in alley ways. hotel needs refurbishing. in the room was waterfall from the ceiling, seems that the room above was flooded or some pipeline broken. hotel stuff said sorry sometimes we got that problem. we were luck that that disaster happened just 10 min before we check out. |

Excellent location. Excellent breakfast staff. My room was very clean and comfortable. BBC or any other English language channels are no longer available on the TV. As I often stay in the hotel for 5 days, this is real disappointment. WiFi internet access is ridiculously expensive and very slow. |

The hotel is about 15 min walk from the royal square, and what is very conveninet 10 min walk from North railway station. On the whole a quite decent hotel. A little noisy (because of trafic) if you have windows on the front side. Beds are narrow and not very comfy. Room was quite small |

The hotel is very close to downtown, the breakfast is wonderful, and the staff is definitely kind. The rooms are incredibly hot, even during the winter. It's impressive, it was almost november and I was forced to sleep with open windows due to the inroom temperature. |

Great rooms, great location, young & helpful staff The hotel's restaurant is terrible. I was charged €30 for "fish of the day" which turned out to be frozen fish served with frozen beans & carrots. Dinner was appalling & overpriced. Breakfast (included in the night's rate), however, was very good. |
