The staff was really nice. The first room I got has a weak WiFi signal, and the lady gave me a new room which meets my demand. The breakfast was also excellent! No.

- Breakfast and dinner (and food in general) were impeccable - Room was nice, quiet and clean - Service @ reception, bar and in the restaurant was outstanding, smooth and very friendly - Personel spoke and understood Dutch - Maid cleared my belongings from the room before I checked out although I had 1 more hour left. So, I had to retrieve my coat, a vest and a sweater from the garbage in her trolley.....thought at first it was a stunt for Candid Camera but no...

very nice hotel and the room was great! Could have a better choice of menu items. Bar staff need to use a ice scoop instead of using their hands when putting ice in the customer glasses...very unsanitary!

Rooms were very nice; restaurant was very good The morning breakfast is not included in the price of the room. You certainly do not have to eat breakfast in the restaruant, but if you do, be prepared to pay 13 euro per person, a lot for what you get.

Déjà évoqué Le personnel en salle est médiocre :pas de formation en école d'hôtellerie( prise en main du verre pour le service du vin,aucune technique, pour désservire pas d'organisation dans le service au table ,chef de rang pas assez dirigeant.UTILISER Des gens formes ils vous apporterons de la crédibilité cfr hôtellerie de spa hôtellerie de liège

Ik was super gerustgesteld bij aankomst aan Hotel Verviers, na een tocht door verschrikkelijk regenweer en met de grijste Belgische stad Verviers op de achtergrond, een puinhoopals overlevering van de vroegere rijke Waalse industrialisatie en nu geduceerd tot een hoopje ellende! Het contrast Verviers en Hotel Van der Valk kon niet groter zijn! Meest luxueuze en bestgefaciliteerde hotel die ik ooit mocht bezoeken! Echt supersjiek! De stad Verviers en het zicht rondom Hotel Verviers met zicht op viaduct e 42, met 100-en autos per minuut voorbij je hotelkamer, wleiswaar op 500 m afstand:-)
