The friendliness of staff, the relaxed atmosphere, the design and comfort of the rooms, and the location made staying at the hotel a real treat. Great breakfast too!

Unique, small, friendly hotel.

Walked from central train station, which I thought was close to hotel. Never had been in Brussels so this was a challenge. Since it is small hotel in a big city on a narrow alley/street, no one I asked knew of this hotel. It is one block north of Ave Louise. Hotel has colorful sign - a very welcome sight when I found it. It is charming and I enjoyed staying there.

Location

Sparse furnishings in room, no pictures, no wardrobe (just hanging rail), no tea making facilities, no mini bar. Not much of anything really, including in the bathroom. Very basic.

a funky quirky hotel with a great vibe, is how a young person may describe this hotel, and even an old man like myself enjoyed the experience. Room not huge, but hey-ho.Breakfast great, especially if you like cheese and bread. And what is it with Belgians and mannequins? The bar near the mannequin PIS, is seriously deranged, fantastic.

Early morning street cleaning, very noisy. An overpowering pleasantish lemony fragrance in the room twas a bit too much, although one shouldn't complain really, it beats the stench of piss and sewage to be found in some bars and streets of Brussels.

Friendly and patient staff, tasty breakfast, convenient location

Fabulous, funky hotel very conveniently located for shops & restaurants - also just 20mins walk from centre of city. Comfortable & quiet room (small but very clean), free internet in lobby, & excellent breakfast. Watch out in summer - lack of air conditioning could be a problem... Highly recommended!

Wireless didn't work in the room

Lovely staff. Always helpful and cheerful. Great design, really vintage! Lovely buffet for breakfast, good coffee (for Belgian standards) and freshly squeezed juices and fruit salads! Good location and very very good atmosphere. If the prices would go just a little down, I would always stay in this hotel.

If you stay on the fourth floor your room will be under the roof so a little annoying and the elevator goes only to the third floor.

Breakfast was wonderful!! I really like the hotel's design. I'll give to the hotel at least 4 star.

The manager was really cheerful and friendly. The cleaning person, above her duty, was very nice and and friendly. The breakfast was great. The room we were given was big and very cosy.

Why do they stop heating at night, when you need it most? Fortunately, they gave us an electric heater

The staff were so very courteous and extremely helpful. The breakfast was superb. The fact that it is a wine bar with very exotic wines is something I hadn't expected. Mostly the design is wonderful - beautiful with a sense of humour. That is something very rare.

The likes far outweigh the dislikes so I have nothing to complain about.

Quite funky design. Nice if you like Roy Lichtenberg or Bridget Riley.
